i don't know man we shut down the switchboards last week, i think there's hope for us yet, now we need to leave congress alone and start pestering the senate that's where the money really goes

yes, and my problem with it is that it is such a broad piece of work. it expects people to take the higher road and not abuse the law which as we've seen with the homeland security act and the housing bubble burst companies cannot be trusted with such open wording. i look at things like our icons most of which could be considered copyright violations and know that eventually they could shut sites like this one down for days if not weeks at a time until they can prove that the owners of the site are not breaking the law. this law makes websites guilty until proven innocent. Its such a ham fisted attempt to corral a problem that it endangers the people who don't break the law and punishes them as well.

the bill is dead in the water but not dead, they're hoping that people won't pay attention to it and lose interest in it so that they can pass it later with as few changes as possible we need to keep our eyes open and stay aware of these two bills.

you can't be serious? do you know how much capital it costs to create a published magazine in the US? Where do you think websites like this got their start? they didn't start by getting free games from developers they started by reviewing games and getting practice writing reviews that people would read without the permission of developers/publishers. this law makes it possible for what they did before they got famous to become illegal. it can make things like my little pony and spider man memes illegal. or at least if people don't like your review they can claim infringement and have your site shut down until you can prove it wasn't. Clearly you haven't read the law thats being proposed or your wouldn't be talking in such a way.
3 months, 1 week ago Forget the dead kid. THIS is the most offensive part of Modern Warfare 3
In order to argue with you I propose.
1. Honestly if I were you I would be flattered that the game developers assumed everyone would be at work during the day, except for dumbass American tourists who deserve to die. Take that as a compliment.
2. I live outside of my nation’s capital and you know what my neighbors dumbass kids leave all over the damn street. Footballs, maybe these developers live near me.
3. Another thing that I see every day at every bus stop and train stop and even attached to buses in my neighborhood right outside of my nation’s capital. Once again these guys probably assume more people are like them than not.
4. Have you ever been to America? Yeah if these guys are America the flag is all over the place. Most people put them up out of fear that they will be un-American if they don’t. the fear of lynching is real… not cool for them to assume that everyone lives in the same kind of anti-national pride fear but they do what they can…
5. Walking distance from my house are two pubs across the street from each other. One irish one Scottish. I thought it was stupid but maybe it was native. Nice to know its not.
6. Yellow cabs? Where I live that’s a franchise and the cabs are blue.
