Nothing from "NBA Jam"? For shame. I declare this feature incomplete.

The games we hate to love
YES! "ROADKILL"!

My god, I loved "RoadKill" so much. The "GTA" series, like many twentysomething males who hate RPGs, is my favorite game series ever, and "RoadKill" is like a cheap "GTA" that doesn't let you out of the car. It was an amazing ripoff- if I recall correctly, they even used the same text font- but you better believe I 100%ed it just as I'd 100%ed "Vice City" the year before.

Gaming's biggest price drops
My best friend picked up "BG&E" literally the week after it came out for $20. That was a happy day for being cheap, but a sad day for good games.

"3.Cigarettes that won't make us dead."

That's a ****ing idiotic thing to wish for. I'd much rather wish that all cigarettes killed the smoker immediately... or at least cigarettes that others would never have to smell and caused no secondhand damage.

The game developers who've NEVER made a bad game
Excellent article, and I'm always happy to see the spotlight shine on developers who consistently do good work... but the Freezepop shout-out put the article on another level.

Box art sport stars that went wrong...
Somebody beat me to the Dany Heatley punch, but... it's one thing to miss the majority of the season; it's another to miss the majority of the season and KILL A TEAMMATE.

Great feature (as was the first one). If there are enough stories left to tell, I'd love to see more.

Long lost movie games
Swear to god, if there was an actual game based on "The Breakfast Club", and it was even halfway decent, I would purchase it on day one. Unless it got dreadful reviews, I wouldn't even think twice.

Awful Box Art: Street Fighter series
1) Who gives a damn who comments first? So many other web sites just delete comments that have no content, so why doesn't GR?

2) I love the box art for the new game. I'm never going to play it, because I'm not a fighter guy, but the cover for "SF IV' conveys a great sense of speed and strength, and the swirl effect is just plain cool.

Yeah, that was creepy, but I'd sure like to make out with Jenny Lewis now.

The 10 most pointless videogame subtitles ever
I agree completely about "Guitar Hero III". Just a ridiculous subtitle- not just does it not expand on the main title, but it's a flat-out lie. I might as well just make a game called "Kicking222: The Greatest Thing You'll Ever Play in Your Entire Life".

Even though they don't count as subtitles, since there's no colon before them, I'd like to nominate any EA Sports game for the Wii titled "[Sport] 09 All-Play". First, does that mean that in the other versions of the game, they restrict who is allowed to play? Is a 360 copy of "Madden" only accessible for teenagers, or women, or dog owners? Second, as the game is on the Wii, isn't it kind of a given that the game is for everyone? It'd make more sense to title a Wii game "[Title]: Hardcore", since nobody expects any Wii title to be for adults in the first place.

No Heavy Rain until 2010?
It's a shame "Heavy Rain" will only be on PS3- I was a huge "Indigo Prophecy" fan. The endings were terrible, but the first 90% of the game was brilliant. I'm in no way an "adventure gamer", but that one was wonderful.

Characters you never knew had the same voice actor
I liked this more than the Gameplayer feature- that one was actually too long, and had some pretty cheap entries. This was concise and very interesting.

Everything must GO!
My resolution is to get my Super Nintendo back from my ex-girlfriend. We dated for five years, I had every intention of marrying her, I was going to move down from my state to hers, I supported her when she went through bouts of depression and dropped out of college (despite being a genius who got into Ivy League schools), she was the love of my life... and she essentially dumped me for a divorcee ten years older than her who lived (at the time) on a houseboat and works with her at a coffee shop. She clearly went insane, yet for some reason, I'm still in love with her, and I probably always will be. I'm not even remotely close to being "over" her, but if I can't get her back, the least I can do is recover my SNES- "Super Metroid", "NBA Jam Tournament Edition", "Tecmo Super Bowl", "Super Mario World" and all.

As far as what I'd like if I were to win some swag... the Hillary-Clinton-enjoying-Starbucks statue from "GTA IV" is definitely at the top of the list. That's just flat-out hilarious. After that would be the (possibly non-functional, almost certainly non-good) VG Pocket, and then "South Park" season 11.
