A not-mainstream movie I'd like to see get more exposure is Repo! The Genetic Opera. This is the movie that Repo Men (and the book it was "based" on) totally ripped off. Basically, Repo Men is to Repo! as Avatar is to Pocahontas (the same plot, minus the music). Some awesome Repo! fan made this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5za9sWYeps It's worth checking out.
From the couple of screen shots and the linked video, I think I actually played that game. If it is the same game, it's not that great of an educational game (nor is it a good game in general). It might have been better if my math class' curriculum had been matched to the program's, but not by much. Also, if I remember correctly, it's a shooter sort of in the way Portal is a shooter: you have a "gun". The lasers you shoot are never shot at other players. Instead, you ener the answer to a math problem to fire the laser at a mechanical construct. From there, gameplay is much like Capture the Flag. Honestly, if it was a game sold in stores, it would be rated E, at the highest. Spongebob games are more violent. Have these parents even watched a round, ever?
I don't count the creatures from 28 Days Later (spoilers) as zombies as they can die without taking head trauma (I don't think real zombies "die" even then, they just can't function), like they did in the end of the movie. I don't think that the movie(s technically, thought the sequel was meh at best) does either, because it says their infected "with rage". I am very uptight when it comes to the definition of "zombies". BTW, for zombie fans, I recommend the book "Dying to Live; Life Sentence" by Kim Paffenroth. It is an excellent book and it will make you question what you thought you knew about zombies.
YES!!!!!!!!!! 33RD!!! MY LIFE GOAL IS FULFILLED AND I CAN NOW DIE HAPPILY!!!! Seriously people, drop the first thing, it's incredibly immature. People who call "first" are attention hogs who crave the small, meaningless attention it brings them. They are the ones who sit at home and place games my that 6-year-old cousin (who can't quite grasp Guess Who) would have little to no problem playing. They aren't gamers, and so I revoke their statues as such. ESPECIALLY the ones who only write "first"!
