Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (Xbox 360): Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light review |

Lol, GamesRadar guy came in here and put HereComesTheHypeTrainCHOOCHOO in his place, hilarious. Do yourself a favor and buy this game, it has so much value for 1200 points it's ridiculous. The gameplay is so fun and it's a breath of fresh air compared to all these 'realistic' games. I want my games to be GAMES, not like real life. This game has the best use of achievements and physics engine i've ever seen in a game. Developers would be wise to take note. You never feel bored, you never arn't having fun, your never wondering what to do next, heck, you dont even need to check your objective screen, the game reminds you if you have a special bonus objective when you reach the specific area where it needs to be done, taking all confusion out of the failed achievement system in all other games. Buy this game, you will not be disappointed, just amazed and astonished. So many unlockables, so many levels, leaderboards, so many weapons and you can even upgrade lara with relics that make her super powerful. Make sure you try to max out her power bar and try not to get hit after because you lose your power bar and you can't get as high of score. Makes it so fun trying to play with perfection and do score challenges. I could go on and on, seriously this is one of the best values in gaming history, get it now! |

To bad this game probably isn't going to get the attention it deserves. I played the demo and this game is actually really good. It's fun and has easy controls but the gameplay is old school platformer greatness, not boring like braid, braid is slow this feels better. Sad they released this around the same time as shadow complex, trials hd, battlefield 1942, and marvel vs capcom 2, because this is definitely a good game and shouldn't go overlooked because of all the heavy hitters released around the same time. |

4 button lay out? the rb and lb bring in your 2 different assists so i'm constantly using 6 buttons. i can see what you mean by low punch and low kick are the same buttons for medium punch and medium kick but you have to land two consecutive hits with the same button for it to use the medium attack. They gave street fighter 2 turbo hd remix a 10? but this a 8? i've owned street fighter 2 hd remix since it came out and loved playing it online but mvc2 is just a better game period than street fighter 2 IMO, so imo this is deserving of the 10 and am baffled by this review, very suprised the same site gave it lower than street fighter. |

and by the way, the prototype art actually does the opposite of selling this game to me, it pushes me away because it looks to much like the assassins creed guy/cover art, total rip off. agree with bioshockers comment as well |

I have to agree with DeadGirls. I've been playing shooters since they first came out on pc, wolfenstein 3d, doom, and duke nukem 3d so it's kinda hard to pull a super hyped up single player only game like bioshock sham on me. Single player only? That alone makes me laugh at bioshock. What do you think sells more, halo 3 and gears of war? or bioshock? bioshock 2 is probably gonna be cool at most. one play through tops just like every other single player game i've been playing; not that they're bad games it's just the day and age of online gaming. sorry single player games, your pretty much dead in my book. |
