Well, I might try and get it at some point, maybe in a sale. Wait, what? It's not available on Mac!? Curse you, Apple! Seriously, I wish developers would work out a way to port new stuff to Macs over Steam D:
Well, if they DO add Dragon Mounts as DLC, they'd better follow it up with paid Dragon Armour. I couldn't STAND to have bethesda not trying to take my money :P
ANYWAY, yeah, apart from the Kinect stuff, all that would be pretty awesome. Although, I probably wouldn't pay extra money JUST to see a giant mudcrab and have trees change every few days. But if, say, they were all released as one package, I'd definitely buy it, ESPECIALLY for spears.
Yeah, I was thinking that. Plus, I quite like how 360 comes in DVD boxes, and PS3 games come in Blu-Ray boxes. It's, like, contrast, or something. Makes me smile. As well as furthers the division and mutual hatred between the two.
I doubt it. Face it, Schafer has a history of making games that are great (supposedly, I haven't really played many) but that don't sell well. One more probably won't tarnish that.
I mean,, look at Clover. Even though Okami bombed financially, a whole bunch went on to be part of Platinum, and they have worked and are woking on some of the highest profile games of the last few years.
There's a few decent ones in here, like the MGS box one, but, I hate to see it, most of these are kinda weak :/ I think I've not only seen several of these used before, but on this very site.
I've never payed any attention to Twisted Metal, really, due to always believing it was a racing game (I'm still not 100% sure, so that could use clearing up XD) But I HAVE seen some of the characters- and that'd make a bloody brilliant horror film.
.. Good point xD I was getting worried that I was going to suffer at the hands of other people because I wasn't buying all the toys, but you're right, no-one gives a crap about Mass Effect's multiplayer :P Has a competitive multiplayer mode even been ANNOUNCED?
.. I seriously don't see why they've been denying an R18+ for games so far, but I do hope this gets passed. Australia deserves to be able to play games uncut, like the rest of the world.
Yeah, the MSP system has to stop. The PSN's system is much better, as is Steam's, but the App store is, by far, the best. There's none of that 'having to put £5 onto the account, and then spending £3, so having £2 left' kerfuffle. If something's £3, then £3 comes off your card, end of story. And that's definitely better than having to buy 800 MSP to buy something that requires a fiver over PSN, but in reality only costs £3.
There is not a single thing in that article that doesn't sound awesome. I'm a HUGE RPG fan, and any kind of collectable loot is always good, to me at least. I hope this time there might even be more weapons that you can pick and choose between, since the last ones fairly limited amount of weaponry kinda sucked, and the secondary weapons were all a bit crap. So, yeah, loads more primary weapons to choose from, but, the only other thing I really WANT from this that hasn't been mentioned is the horse to come at a DECENT point in the game, instead of, like, 2/3 of the way through. And, but horse, I don't mean 'ridable construct' to be used in dungeons- I mean Death's horse. HIS horse. That you can use when you want.
... And preferably with slightly better on-horse combat controls.
I suppose, providing the team-members aren't with you CONSTANTLY- like, they're only there when you choose to be playing in co-op- then people still get all the fear, as long as they play through it first time solo, and if they don't, they're only ruining it for themselves
EVERYTHING'S over-priced. I don't see why ANYONE still buys anything from HMV, it's a huge rip-off.
On a lighter note, Well done, Dave. Everyone knows HMV's even worse than the Ministry of Truth if you get caught. Viva la Revolution etc. This is investigative journalism at it's finest
Actually, scratch that bit about PoW's. I was just going through stuff on the Resi series, trying to get better acquainted with the characters, and seeing what games were still available, and which'd be good to play, when I saw a thing about Bio-Organic weapons, or BOWs. I guess it pays to research stuff. Ah, the pains of being a Resi-noob.
I think he said PoW's, like Prisoners of War. I kinda assumed he meant, like, taking any Zombies back (sort of) alive, for testing. Is it just me, or does any one else think Leon looks a little bit like Willem DaFoe? Anyway, I prefer Leon's style in resi 4 to Chris's in Resi 5, so I hope that makes up a sizeable chunk of the game. It'd be a shame if the decent, actually scary bit of the quite possibly biggest and most notable instalment of a survival horror got left to the sidelines.
I was starting to worry that there wasn't going to be anything good to look forward to in 2012, but evidently I'm wrong- This list reminded me how much there IS to look forward to :D
Still, that said, I'm a little disappointed by a few of the top 10, especially Bioshock Infinite :/ Personally, I think MGR:R and Borderlands 2 should've been up there in the top 10, but that's just me
And I totally hope Revengeance AND Anarchy Reigns DO get released, even if I still have no idea hat AR is about.
Wait, what? It's not available on Mac!? Curse you, Apple!
