I'm glad they included Thief III's Shalebridge level - that's my personal favorite of all time. I would also include Deux Ex's first level and FreeSpace 2's last level. Pretty good list overall though.
@Anjaneya - you don't need to have a PS3 to have a PSN account. You can sign up for as many as you like on the PC and PSP owners can also set up multiple PSN accounts (some people do that to get region-locked content for example). Unfortunately, Sony release the number of concurrent or active users so that 70 million number is pretty meaningless.
Nice article and wonderful news. As the father of a son with CP I'm encouraged by the efforts developers are taking to make their games accessible to all. This actually has benefits for all gamers as developers say it causes them to rethink old conventions and sometimes they'll incorporate these solutions into features for all gamers.
I would have replaced the games they listed as failures (curiously all 360 games - typical GamesRadar fanboy baiting - with premium unlock codes for content already on the disc.
@hardcore_game1990 - I've had a PS3 since 12/31/06 and also have a PS2, PSP and Sony receiver. I've been a hardcore gamer literally since Pong came out so have a different perspective than many kids on these boards. I've seen so many companies come and go in this industry, that I've learned how foolish it is to become attached or act as an advocate for any of them. Many have their moment in the sun, and I buy them all because I can and I want to be able to play any game that catches my eye, but I won't be an apologist for any of them. I call it the way I see it.
Man, the Sony Defense Force really comes out in numbers for this title, attacking any site (UGO Games Blog, GamesRadar) that is even the least bit critical. Hate to break it to you, but KZ2 is not going to "save" the PS3.
Some other good titles not listed are the 2 Syphon Filter games, Burnout Legends, both Lumines releases, both SOCOM games, Field Commander, God of War and Puzzle Quest. Too bad only Resistance: Retribution is on the radar for 09. Sony should aggressively push PS1 games ported to PSP on their online store.
