If you having troble on jump 17# like i did i suggest you try this.
get a fast car probably a turismo (thats what i used) these are easily avalible in the car shop on the middle island just around the corner from the safe house.
Take the car to the jump go right up to the ramp then slowly reverse backwards in a straight line.
Go all the way down the grass verge, untill u reach the concrete. Then hit the acceleration button, follow the tracks your car let in the mudd then do the jump.
It worked for me, you just need a fast car if your using the grass route.
