Gaz and Ghost have the same voice actor, but yeah they aren't the same character
Also I noticed that the soundtrack playing as you climb up the ice in cliff hanger is really similar to the end of Aggressive Expansion by Hans Zimmer from The Dark Knight
Lol, after all the Kingdom Hearts stuff that was so awesome. Also one thing that may help some poeple, there's Ansem and Xeonort. Ansem is the old guy with the voice of Coutn Dooku and Xeonort is the guy in the painting, the "Ansem" Hearltess from the first game and the "Xemnas" Nobody from the second game. The real Ansem (old dude) has no Heartless of Nobody, Xeonort just beat his ass and stole his name and research
This article would be compltely relavent if it weren't that 6 of those 7 games have lots of DLC. I think a better name for the article would be "Games that keep charging you for extra playing time."
I actually got Starcraft a month or so ago and my friends and I have been playing it a lot, so I was pleasently surprised when I saw the "Nuclear Launch Detected" on here. Haha, it's so annoying and devestating all at the same time. Whenever it pops up we all instantly scan our bases for the Red Dot of Death, ancestor to the Red Ring of Death.
I think the fan made Faith art seems better just because the changes to the face create a kinder look. The originals face looks kinda creepy and cotrary to the developer I would not want to approach her. The second however looks more normal and kind. In fact, I kinda thought of Lily from How I Met Your Mother when I saw it.
@GamesRadarJoe: No kidding, I would scroll down the page and think it was already over. The similrity to those "Yay! Aww... Yay!!! Aw..." jokes was uncanny.
I've missed these community based articles. Last one I remember was the one about the forum wars and that was AGES ago.
Definitely going to pick this up at some point for the GH and GH II tracks, but it'll be after the price goes down. I'm really questioning why they put GH III songs on it though, seems like a waste since that one was made for 360, PS3, and Wii
Eh I really thought Street Fighter IV and Red Faction were completely overated. Street FIghter seemed shallow and there weren't enough moves to satisfy me. Plus it's a fighter so someone can win by randomly smashing buttons which is dumb. As for Red Faction the crappy story and weak gameplay (wish critics seem to pass over) made it a 6 in my book. I get that destruction is cool but it's not the only thing that is important. Just my two cents.
@chrisat: haha, same. Great thing is they didn't even try to explain it or defend it or anything, it was just straight up
As much as I hate the Wii (sorry Wii owners) this is great for the industry. It's hard to fathom that Nintendo could drop (or even lower) their massive support for the Casual, but if this is a success they may start to return to their roots and stop the hard left turn the industry has been making. Enjoy it!
Hmmm...this could work out really well. If the single player isn't that good and it gets low reviews the price will go down quickly and then everyone will be able to pick up a fun multiplayer title for relatively cheap. Plus if it turns out the single player is great well then it's just a great game overall
I really like rowing. I haven't gotten to do it much in awhile but rowing is an amazing support that not only uses a lot of muscles in the body and is good for your heart, but is a tranquil water sport where you can really just relax.
I had always thought about that when playing Metroid games. I mean, unless they all have hover vehicles no one in the Mettroid universe is getting anywhere
I went to the midnight release of this (I don't know what compelled me to when i could have gotten it after work today) and played it for just one hour when I got home. It's excellent
I just got through the first assassination and I have to say that I'm loving the slightly sped up combat, the more fluid climbing, the hidden blades in combat...
My only gripe is that the faces sometimes look a bit PS2ish, specifically Lucy. What did they do to her? For a collection of pixels in a game, she was relatively hot in the first. Now not so much. But that's just a little thing. the actual gameplay is visually beautiful.
15-20 hours for the sequel of a game that you could easily beat in 6 hours is really very enticing and pretty impressive.
all in all, my first impression i that this review was right on the florins.
