| I tried to get into X3: Reunion a few times. (Install, try. Fail. Uninstall.) It's a big game, but the time invested at the beginning reaps huge rewards later. If you have any questions, the egosoft/forums have one of the better communities I have come across. This game is a little more user friendly with cues on your next objective and such. True, there were some bugs when it was released. I had no game stoppers, but only one non-important mission was uncompletable (is that a word?!?) But now the game is all patched up and if egosoft does like it did with X3: reunion, they may take off the DRM stuff in the future to make sure you get long lasting joy out of thier game. |

festafreak commented on: QOTW: What is your all-time favorite console? |
|
| SNES. It was my first system and it got me into games. Good ole' Super Mario World. Still play that down at the cabin when I go. I started on PC in 1999 with NHL 99 and from that moment on I haven't looked back. Golden Eye parties were pretty awesome, but Snes is where most of my good memories lie. I guess a lot of these commenters haven't been around long. |

| @ Doomdoom..... Did you not read the beginning of the article? The whole part of this going back to the roots of what made SF2 a really good and challenging game? I guess you aren't into fighting games much, but that is basically the gameplay, punch kick, win. But you can throw them together to make special things happen!!! My game is just decrypting now (off steam) I hope GFWlive doesn't ruin the experience. I hated signing in in fallout 3. |

festafreak commented on: QOTW: What dead company or franchise do you miss the most? |
|
| GRRR I wrote a big comment on how i miss Lucasarts on the PC and my favorite games blah blah blah, but it didn't save so I don't want to type it again. I miss LA on PC because I had many fond memories playing their games. They go where the money is, thus getting back into PC games with bioware to make an MMO. Yup money is what they are about. I also agree with nintendo. Grew up on (S)NES and N64. Very good memories. |
