I must have been the only person who actually noticed that there was a console on screen aswell as a new controller.

Was a bit let down at the lack of first party games but the fact that I'l be able to play all the current gen releases(probably) and HD nintendo releases on the same console and just on the tablet if I want is enough for me to say, SOLD! With the lack of Xbox exclusives these days I'd be seriously tempted to give it up for this and keep my PS3 for uncharted, etc.

Looking forward to seeing what it can really do now.

This all sounds awesome. Microsoft and sony have both said there consoles will have longer life spans with sony saying ps3 would last 10 years or something and microsoft only just releasing kinect theres no way theu'll release a new console anytime soon. Totally probable the new nintendo console (won't be called wii 2) will have as good and probably better hardware. Count on something cooler than just HD visuals too. Nintendo seem to be moving away from the casual gaming market now microsoft have taken up the role.

Its funny seeing all the 360/ps3 fanboys crying on sites that it won't be as good as there precious consoles. I own all three and I'm not scared that the my other two will be inferior to nintendos. grow up.

Err, how will you fire the gun? Kinect = no buttons.

Jab lancer towards the screen for gunfire? Nod head to kill enemy? hold lancer in one arm and wave with other to shoot?

Even with all the el cheapo preowned kinects clogging up shelves at the moment I just can't get even a little tempted by it.
