1998 vs 2008: How has gaming changed in 10 years?
Yes graphics have come a long way but, if anything, games are far less inventive. Technological restrictions demand games designers and programmers to innovate in other areas; polished HD graphics tend to mask the fact you're playing a unoriginal, rehahsed version of something else. Take GTA for example; the game structure is basically the same the original top-down version, and in my eyes, in no less enjoyable than the current iteration. Just prettier and online. If Rockstar want to rehash something though, I'd give a new version of Body Harvest my total support!

DRM = FUN
Sucked though if you lost the manuals, which i often did. I remember buying a game for my Atari ST called Deathbringer which cost £25 ( which was a lot of money in the early 90's!) which relied on a separate sheet containing hundreds of combinantions of potential codes to get into the game, which was thrown away in error by my Mum. No internet then, see. You young-uns don't know your born!

About Me
It all started Christmas 1990; I received a NES with a a few games from Santa and things have never been the same since. I instantly started to recoil from the daylight, soap and basic human interaction. It had begun. I had become a gamer.
