| Hah. "Robert Mugabe of the Mushroom Kingdom". Love it. | |

| Good call with the SMB3 Mario verdict. I don't know what a Tanooki is, exactly, but I'm pretty sure I'd want to be one if I were Mario. Although, if the selection process had included powered-up Mario outfits, I'd have to go with the Sledgehammer Mario vestments from SMB3. That was fierce enough to make even Smash Bros Brawl-era Mario crawl back into Kuribo's shoe. |

| Did you use the IDSPISPOPD code for your Big Rig video? Looks like "no clipping" mode is enabled... The rig just happily drives right through concrete structures with nary a bit of friction. Lovely. | |

| Great article. Made me want to rush over to OCRemix and grab some remixes from these games. Reading about the FZero GX music made me remember how much I really liked the original F-Zero's "Red Canyon" stage soundtrack. I confess to putting a cassette recorder up next to my stereo speaker to dub that to tape. |

| Very cool. I'm partial to remixes of the old game soundtracks though, myself. For example: ocremix.org. Hearing Swedish gamer metal band Game Over perform "Little Mac's Confession" provokes more of an emotional response than hearing the original Punchout theme in all of its chip-tune-iness. | |

| Loved the article, but one major omission in my opinion: In Sunshine, you had the ability (thanks to a courteous Pianta) to borrow sunglasses and eventually a Hawaiian print shirt as well. Would have been nice to to see this chilled-out Beach Bum Mario style featured here. | |

| My biggest Rock Band disappointment was the fact that the Wii version had no DLC. After playing it on XBox360 at a friend's party, my wife and I rushed out to buy it for Wii when it came out, but alas Harmonix had failed to get DLC going, despite the fact that the Wii has a friggin online store built into it (Wii Shop channel). Rock Band 2 improved on this, of course, but still... |

| Wow, amazing how well the NeoGeo's graphics hold up over time. That Samurai Showdown shot isn't far off some of the screen caps from the SFIV review. Also, good to see Donkey Kong topped the Coleco list. (I used to work with the fellow responsible for that port. He's a heavy-metal-playing Buddhist monk and a hell of an engineer.) |

| I won't dispute that Super Ghouls & Ghosts was tough, but it doesn't compare to the challenge of the original Ghosts & Goblins, where play control was more limited and you had only one level of armor to aspire to above your underwear (versus the elite abilities bestowed on the wearer of the Golden Armor in Super GnG). | |
