Evil Lara came from the very first Tomb Raider (where she was also mute)... which is one of the reasons why they took the time to release Anniversary before doing Underworld, the direct sequel of Legends, which ended in a cliffhanger.

Anniversary having been released just a year before Underworld, you'd think they didn't need a reason to explain for the third time where the clone came from...

Evil Lara clone is unexplained?

The entire thing comes from the very first Tomb Raider. She comes from an Atlantean device in the last few levels where the clone merely acted as a puzzle.

They revived the idea of the clone that was left over from that adventure, along with the villain from the same adventure: Natla.

Ever wonder why they took the time to rerelease the original game (anniversay) instead of going straight to the sequel of Legends which ended in a cliffhanger? In case it's not obvious: it was to reintroduce Natla AND the clone technology.

Yeah, as those comments say, Cyrodil is not the "world".

Cyrodil is the name of the imperial province.
Morrowind is the name of the province ruled by the dark elves.
Skyrim is the name of the province ruled by the nords, which is located just north of Cyrodil and west of Morrowind.

"Tamriel" is the name of the continent where the provinces are located, one for each race (Skyrim - nord, Summerset Isle - high elves, Morrowind - dark elves, Cyrodil - imperials, Black Marsh - argonian, Elsweyr - Kahjit, and the Breton and orc province whose name i forgot and where Daggerfall is.)

To the best of my knowledge, the name of the "world" itself has never been mentionned in any of the Elder Scrolls game (though i have not played Redguard, BattleSpire and the mobile version of Oblivion). But the continent is Tamriel.

The first Larry was not a point 'n click adventure. It was a "move with the keyboard arrow and type the text for any action you require" game.
It played closer to the Zork games than any point and click games, which were not invented yet at that time.
The game was hard, very hard.

Larry 1 was then remade by Sierra some years later in VGA 256 colors and got "upgraded" as a point 'n click interface along the process.
The game became suddenly so very, very easy that it was a breeze to get through.

This is more than likely going to be a point 'n click. If they don't add to the complexity of the game, this won't be a good game.
The game is short (takes around 20 minutes to complete when you know how to do things), and is going to be easy to play. I estimate about 4 to 5 hours play-time at max for people who never played it.

The story itself is also not that great.
*spoilers* (for a 25 years old game...)

Play a guy who don't know that disco is dead and try to get laid. Go through his misadventures in about 4 small locations only to find a girl who jumps your bones for no reason without a word exchanged...

The posted picture is also the most nudity you're going to get in the game, if that's your thing.

Larry 1 was a great game for it's time, but it's time is way past.

Lynda Carter was in Oblivion,

playing the "random nord" character if i remember correctly.

Lynda Carter was also in Oblivion, playing the role of the "random nord" characters.

BladedFalcon...

No, contrary to whatever people think, PSN is NOT free.

Anyone who purchased a PS3 or a PSP is ENTITLED to access to PSN. A free access to the online system is advertised on those products and it is part of the package when you buy one of their systems. I bought access to PSN when i bought my PSP.

Sony is also as much to blame as the hackers. They have the obligation of making their system secure, especially when it contains credit card info. They didn't take all the precautions they could.
It simply could not happen to "anyone", it's not the way things work. Some systems are closely monitored, some are not.
They knew of repeated attempts at bypassing security on their system for over a month before they were hacked... they had multiple warnings and yet they still didn't do anything.

Some people even got their credit card info stolen for cards expired since over 10 years ago! What the heck was Sony STILL doing with those card numbers? They have acted like they had the right to everything you put on their system as if it was "their" property. It wasn't.

oh COME ON!!!

I don't have a PS3, i have a PSP... There's NOTHING i can use in there.
It's all a bunch of PS3 games and free home items that i can't even access.

Thank you Sony... :(
9 months, 2 weeks ago Sony update: Lawsuits, Congress absences, and free stuff
1) To remind everybody: the U.S. has already started a class-action lawsuit the day after Sony announced the hack. WAAAY before the canadians did, so it's not just them.
I also beleive they are not stupid enough to even think they'll get their billion dollars. It'S the way of things... go in court for a ridiculous amount, then settle out of court for a lesser amount... that is exactly the amount you wanted in the first place.

2) The sad thing, i had my info and credit card on the PSN and i don't even ever OWNED a PS3. I have a PSP. All that free stuff can't even be used on a PSP.

343 Guilty Spark:
"Built by the Forerunners, an ancient race of enlightened beings..."

[possible spoilers]

The forerunners have been revealed to be ANYTHING but enlightened.
They were sworn to "protect" the lesser races... as long as they were the dominant species of the galaxy. Otherwise they would wage war on the race threathening their dominion until those other races became "lesser", or were exterminated.

They destroyed refugees, prevented the evolution of races, destroyed others, manipulated information and "supressed" any member of their own society who disagreed. The closest thing to space nazis we can find.

They have killed themselves for all intent and purposes.

Just a bunch of douches.
