instead of giving a general review for the entire game, make it based on different parts of the game such as music and visuals (similar to how gamespot does it) but don't factor any of that into the "total" score of the game, simply because there wont be a total score. also, get only reviewers who are interested in whatever the genre is and get them to do the review because sometimes this isnt the case and it creates expectations that one genre just cant easily live up to. reviews should only be critical of the strengths and weaknesses of a game (like the "you'll like' and "you'll hate" section at the end of each GR review but bigger and more in depth).
i dont know if metacritic does this but do they seperate user scores from critic scores?
when i get my own job (god knows when) i am going to create my own computer. hopefully all the really high end tech that can graphically demanding games at playable framerates will see a reduction in price and thus i can finally play the games they were meant to be played... not at 640x480 resolution with all the settings turned to "low" or even "very low"
i also got a bored with GTA IV faster than previous ones but it was because it stripped out some of the activities you could do, like run errands and taxi submissions (i mean for the entirety of the game, you get the option to drive people around for a little extra cash in the beginning but later on you cant because of what happened with Roman's taxi service *ahem*). maybe the new dlc will fix this. lol my recaptha fits in perfectly with this article. its "ddefective games"
maybe the Locust are blind and dont even realize they are being controlled by a human look-alike queen. they live underground where its dark so im guessing there would be no need for sight. but i dont know how that would explain their glyphs. or the locust can be blind to some extent, maybe unable to recognize some complex shapes. wat if the clothing of the locust queen is controlling her (?) wierd i know but it could be possible if wat people are saying about its seeming alive is true and thus the "clothing" can assume a wide variety of sentient beings as a host and make the locust unaware that its new host is not one of them :0
