Uh, the reason GM and Ford don't complain about the used car market is because ppl still have to buy parts for said vehicles. This is simply the video game equivalent...
Considering I own BOTH HD consoles, I can definitely state that I've noticed this downgrade in video quality. It's now come down to the 360 being my main gaming system, while my PS3 has become my main video player.
The timing couldn't have been any worse, either, because MS released metro dashboard just as I upgraded to a 360s. We also just switched out our old 1080i CRT for a 1080p LCD. I used to have great video, but I had to put up with a fan that sounded like a leaf-blower. Now the sound has improved, but the 360 picture quality sucks.
I actually enjoyed the demo quite a bit, and the reviews were solid. Only reason I didn't buy it comes down to lack of funds, but I still intend to pick it up. This might've been a bigger hit had they given it a better release...
@ d0x: MS isn't charging for Hulu, Hulu is. If you pay for Hulu Plus, you get the opportunity to play it on any system you like - I have it installed on both my Xbox AND my PS3...
I'm not too sure if I like the idea of MS working with cable companies. I've recently replaced cable with Netflix and Hulu streaming on my consoles, a savings of over $100! Why would I want to pay for cable again?
