I'm seeing that a ton of people missed the Compass song after killing Dutch. Did anyone get to hear it? I swear, they put your horse right next to an herb and it's like, "pick me, I'll turn the song off, yay!" Why the fuck does that turn the song off?! I did a bunch of shit during Far Away and it kept playing, it was during a thunderstorm and it was awesome. But with Compass, I heard like one line of the song and was wondering if that was supposed to be that short or what. It stopped playing for so many people here it's almost like you're NOT supposed to hear the fucking song . . . fucking Rockstar. |

Yes, GTA IV was very grim, but the DLC improved that on both the grim and fun front. The car handling never seemed to improve or become easily accustomed to. I also agree with the things to spend money on. Money is almost pointless in GTAs. There are co-op missions in multiplayer, not just free roam. If you want a Rockstar game in a new time period, try out RDR, and upcoming LA Noire. Not to mention Mafia II, sort of related b publisher 2k. My point is, no more GTA. It's done, let the talent tackle a new IP. If anything GTA IV proved that there's not much left to do but cash in on the name. |

OMG, that Goldeneye pause menu seriously just knocked my sense of time back. Wow, that is some seriously heavy nostalgia and I don't really ever care to play that game again. I think a lot of times people left that pause menu up to grab a bite to eat and really just liked hearing it. And I've totally left the GTA IV TBoGT paused for hours just to set a background mood, lol. I also like the RDR pause menu where it just puts a filter over what you're currently doing, and then keeps the music going and kind of slows it down. |

You know what would be convenient for these spoiler articles: Listing the titles that will be discussed in order in the paragraph that you're already saying there are spoilers, or at the bottom of the article where you list tags, so that I can maybe try to avoid some spoilers while going through the article. Otherwise, putting a big SPOILERS thing makes me just want to avoid the article altogether, like I should have done with your Red Dead Redemption spoilers that I never wanted to know about. |

"Think of knocking out a 2D platformer or adventure game and you might as well have eaten a slice of cyanide pie before you even started coding." Nice, and absolutely right. Love the downloadable scene, half the games I've played this gen have been purchased through PSN. However, I can still hate on Activision and call to all others to do so as well. Dispicable company that, hopefully, is only caused by Kotick or some other singular source, that way they can, hopefully, get rid of it. |

I do think that only the top two or three recipients of the highest aggregate reviews and the most awards for game of the year, such as Batman AA and Uncharted 2 sharing those accolades. I am against a laundry list of titles naming themselves GOTY. It makes saying "LBP GOTY edition is the definitive title, you should get it it has all the DLC and it says it all--it's the game of the year" seem totally worthless. recaptcha: Habib worship . . . wtf |

She looks kind of like Sasha Grey in that face shot. Funny that the porn star would probably be a better fit for this part anyway, considering not only does she have the personality for a bond girl part, but also would be getting plenty nude, as opposed to this singer who will likely hardly even show her waist. (I am speaking from the experience of having watched The Girlfriend Experience, which wasn't quite that great of a movie, but for a porn star, like I said, likely a better actor than this puff part for this singer). Or . . . we're not talking about an actual movie then? Retarded. |

LOL. Well, because the game is so big, this probably took a lot of work. Which is why I feel all the more sorry for the programmers. This looks so minimally changed, almost like dropping a few bombs onto invulnerable stone for a few black marks and changing the lighting in LBP. I'm glad I never got into this game. Not to mention these screens and pretty much any other WoW screens on any PC look like they're from early PS2 games. |

Why a new console generation would be terrible for gaming |
|
|
@yagirlfriend, you mention the hardcore wanting better graphics? Hardcore gamers play all sorts of games, not because of graphics, but because of GAMEplay, and that's how it always has been, always will be, and will be even more so in the future as graphics are getting becoming more and more of a sidenote, considering everything is always supposedly pushing the limits. Graphics are for noobs -- they're there to tantilize the casual audience into buying something they'll hardly ever use, because they have no idea what games are good or not, but if they LOOK good then they must be good. If you call yourself a hardcore gamer and find yourself being mesmerized into buying something just because of the smoothness of a texture, then you need to reevaluate your status as a gamer. |

The Top 7... Movie genres games should try next |

"On March 2, 2010, IGN announced that the game [Six Days in Fallujah] is still coming out and is finished." I definitely had a major problem with Konami pussing out and ceasing publishing, and was pretty pissed off to see all the controversy towards it. Absolutely ridiculous. If it's so controversial complain to your government that you're in a war in the first place. This is life and we're all involved like it or not. I hope this game has made it to its full potential, but I fear it's taken too many hits since it was announced to have had the funding and time to perfect it. |

I think for the Slasher, one possibility would be to use just Pyramid Head in a Silent Hill game, without any other antagonist or enemy, and you could be in a group of folks that all have their own strengths but aren't really much of a physcial threat to anything without being resourceful and creative and nimble. For the Rock game, it sounded like they're trying a little something like what you discussed with Guitar Hero 6, however GH is so tired I don't even care. Existentialist is the one I can really get behind. But, I concur on your first point on the matter, what a gay word. |

Better graphics. I won't be buying a new tv in about 10 years, and if I do happen to need one it will be a smaller one (because I would assume I'd be living alone and on a smaller budget) and definitely no where near as expensive as a 3D ready tv. |

I thought ALL of the old PSM covers were awesome. The FFVII was my first official gaming magazine subscription, and I've been subscribed to them ever since (through their name changes), and a few other publications now. It's too bad they lost the custom artwork because it was always excellent, and the PTOM covers aren't very inspirational to say the least (there are often advertisments pasted on top of the cover as well). Is there a website dedicated to all of the covers for particular [gaming] publications? Anybody knows, PM me please. |

Hadn't thought of many of these points. I definitely will not buy the Kinect at all. And I'm not even sure I'll ever find an excuse for buying the Move, although Heavy Rain would have been 100% better with a Wii-like controller scheme. Great points, read the whole thing. "Show me a Halo or a Metal Gear Solid that can work better on Kinect than with a controller and I'll show you a horse that can ride a bicycle." "I wouldn't expect self conscious [or old] people to play with this peripheral at all." |

When I read about this game I must have had no idea what they were talking about because this just blew my mind.
