After playing Uncharted 3, Nathan's line where he says to Elena: "You love this as much as I do," makes me wish he had said that to Lara Croft instead. Man... fans can only dream...
I cannot believe that people who think the Lunar Revel is a made up holiday... Even one of my friends thought this too, sigh. Chinese New Year is January 23rd, so this timely promotion is no coincidence.
I heard a completely different explanation for Alan Wake not coming to PC. Remedy said that the decision to port it to PC was totally out of their hands, and that it was Microsoft's decision to give the port the green light. Basically, Microsoft screwed PC gamers over by making the game a 360 exclusive.
At this point I guess its better late than never to get Alan Wake to PC. But to be honest I've now moved on and more excited for Max Payne 3. Does this give anyone hope that Red Dead Redemption might someday come to PC (I know its a different developer, but hey anything is possible)?
Actually that's just the way Evan Lahti talks. If you listen to the PCG podcast you'll hear his voice a lot. I think he's half Vulcan, always in a neutral but calm voice.
Good point, I remember skinning countless animals in that game. However I've also been mauled plenty of times by cougars and bears. I even used my horse as cover in a firefight on at least one occasion.
I wouldn't doubt that happening for a second. Same applies to cell phone users, there are iPhone/Apple loyalists and then there's everyone else (Android, PC etc). Faceless consumers just like to antagonize each other.
I couldn't agree more with this article. The sad part about this is that this sort of behavior isn't only limited to the gaming community. I really feel that the Internet communities as a whole are full of whiny, immature douche-bags. It just bums me out that so few people are actually helpful or even empathetic towards another person in need of it.
My sympathy goes out to those people who couldn't play Skyrim and BF3 to its fullest.
I heard from a friend that the Uncharted statue is actually the same weight as the idol in the beginning of Raiders of the Lost Ark. For those who haven't seen the movie, the reason why that is clever is because Indiana Jones needed to swap the idol with a bag of equal weight to get it without tripping the pressure plate. Can anyone confirm this?
How are the boss fights? No more charging brutes coming at you? Also regarding the voice acting, I'll take an unrecognizable Nolan North in every game than hear Steve Blum's gravelly one-note voice.
