@ExcessGiraffe Your right, they should, after all Total Mayhem was a good gams and it wasn't a game rip-off. The problem is that Gameloft knows how it's making it's money and it won't want to stop the gravy train. And like I said in my first post,there is a benefit to having these substitute. So we can hope, but it looks like they're just gonna continue the status qui and just make more extravagent rip-offs |

I have a feeling that not many people are gonna speak on Gameloft's behalf, so I'll do it now and get it all out of the way. Yeah, Gameloft loves to rip off console games, but they're not the only ones on the app store that do it. The reason why Gameloft stands out is because these are good quality games, some of them, like Nova, can even be called great. While other GTA rip-offs use the top-down perspective of the original two games, Gameloft went and made a 3D sandbox (btw your screenshot is actually from the sequel, Miami Vindication). While The iPod/Pad has control limitations that usually make these types of games not work well, Gameloft's games work a lot better than most of whats out there. Just compare the controls of Nova to those of EA's Bad Company 2 app and you'll see why Gameloft is one of the Top app developers. The quality of their games is also why they were in charge of putting Altair's Chronicles, Splinter Cell Conviction, The Settlers, Rayman 2: The Great Escape, Warrior Within and a number of movie licensed games onto the app store. Plus, there's Spider-Man Total Mayhem, which in my opinion is a really fun game. Gameloft's games aren't the best on the app store (check out Across Age) nor are they the absolute best-looking (check out Infinity Blade), but they are close to it and I dont have a problem with Gameloft ripping off good games so long as they make fun rip-offs. And it works on the app store because you're spending less than ten bucks for video games that serve as nice substitutes. I have both God of War games and Soul Caliber Broken Destiny on my PSP, but, honestly, who carries that around with them? So if I find myself in need of some GoW like action or some SC style fighting, I'm glad that Gameloft has provided me with Hero of Sparta I/II and Blades of Fury for my iPod, which I never leave home without. Are they as good as the games they rip off? Of course not. You're talking about games on a device with graphics at about the Dreamcast level and lacking any actual buttons for the games. But do they satisfy your on-the-go needs? You bet they do. |

I haven't ran into any dick levels on LBP and if there are any they get reported. What you should have put was something about all those "funniest ways to die" levels, or just crappy levels. Those seem more hellish to me. But great article. |

I was thinking the same thing as VoodooDevil1369. There is always a chance that the company will fail, even if its 5 to ten years down the road. And once that happens, all of the games you "bought" are gone and you would have paid all that money to buy games and to keep your subscription going for nothing. And there's also the fact that this gets rid of the concept of used buying used games and trade-ins. Without those, I wouldn't be able to afford to be a gamer. Say what you want about Gamestop, but I traded in two unwanted Christmas gift games to get God of War 3 for only 50 cents. Plus, this whole thing, if successful, would kind of kill Nintendo as well as any technological creativity any company has. You know that 3DS with the glasses-less 3D? Wouldn't it be cool if a company found a way to make their console do that on any TV? Well they can't because OnLive is running a monopoly on gaming and is making enough money to not care what you want. |

This game PWN's Mario Kart... I did like Mario Kart 64 back when I was a kid, then it just got BORING.. Same with Mario Kart Wii... I laughed at how DUMB the motion steering is. Mod Nation kicks Nintendo where it hurts... Just watch how many people defect from Wii's to get a beefier Ps3. Custom Tracks and characters?? What's better than that??? Does the wii have customizable tracks on Mario Kart wii?? NOPE.. They also haven't released DLC, which is a freaking Shame. Nintendo released a Half Baked Mario Kart on the wii.. Mod Nation is just better.. I was in the closed Beta last year, it was SO COOL.. I made 10 tracks, and 100 Mods (racers) Has anyone been able to do that with Mario's games?? Again NOPE. Anyone that still thinks the kart racers of old are still playable, are obviously poor geeks that didn't save up any $$$$ |

I wonder if GR is gonna bash Allen Wake (the xbox game) as much when it comes out?? More than likely they won't.. why??? GR is Microsoft friendly, too friendly if you ask me.. Why not just admit it GR, you sleep in bed with MS. This article is a pointless rant. I can't believe they posted a spoiler review.. I played HR and I did like it, all graphics aside, this is a good game... way better than the normal crap like MW2. I hope that GR wakes up and stops bashing ps3 and sucking up to MS.. |

I have played Rune Scape and D&D Online.. DDO is a crap game. I did like it somewhat but Runescape is better... I hate crime craft.. that game is a clone of GTA meets DOOM... worst game ever. |

I played the demo, and the coolest thing is every time you start the chapters over you get new responses, new events happen.. It's not a normal game. I LOVE IT. (yes I wanna marry it,lol) Just kidding... lol.... anyways I really was blown away by the detail, my mom thought it was a movie. We just saw Avatar so she really couldn't tell the difference. I give this game/movie a 10. |

@cart00n: Your right and whats even more amazing is we are just a bunch of borrowed parts as Will Wright points out in the Nat Geo DVD that comes with Spore. We all owe our exsistance to sea creatures. Not just Apes. If we were made in 7 days then explain why ALL our DNA is in every living creature/plant you name it.. I am a Christian but refuse to believe we were literally made in 7 days. This idea that we just came out of thin air is just BS. Same logic goes with games. Not one game can say it is an original idea. Except PONG, that was the very first game ever. Every game that came after just builds on the whole idea of what a game should be. I love Uncharted 2. I cannot stop playing it. It does have some awesome moments in the Single Player game. I can only imagine what they will do for Uncharted 3.. UC2 makes every aspect work brilliantly. That is why it raked in all those awards. |

Gamesradar is totally bias... They are in someway controlled by Microsoft so it's no surprise they picked Xbox360.. If you want my honest thoughts on which console will win 2010.. I have to say PS3, for one, the service is free (for now) and not to mention we have exclusives Xbox'er idiots would LOVE to have.. Not to mention we only ever need ONE disc.. 2 or three for Mass effect?? PUHLEASE!! I would rather get the STEAM version on my pc.. At least there on my pc I can play my games in 1080p.. but back to consoles, I am no fanboy of PS3, I did at one time own all current consoles. Now I'm just down to a ps3, simply because I can't live without Netflix and blu-ray's. I hope XBox gets a Blu-ray.. more power to them.. more money for SONY..lol. Besides most xbox360 components are in someway or another a sony product.. so we are really just gonna have to go with a all in one with the next gen console, have nintendo,xb720,and ps4 all in one box.. I would pay $2,000 for it... I want all the developers to put console partisan politics aside.. We need to cut costs in this downswing economy.. Sony spent 2 trillion bucks on the ps3.. xb360 came close but not close enough since they still red ring.. the wii is a joke by it's self.. it needs the other consoles. I dream of a day where I can just turn on ONE console and pull up different User interface's.. say I want to play Halo reach I login to the xbox console from a directory system.. and if I want to play Gran turismo, on the fly I should be able to press the menu button (guide,or Home) button and jump right over to the ps4 partition. the same with wii 2.. Whats more, the ps3 is really a beta model for the ps4.. Once the ps4 comes out we will have James Camerons: AVATAR (movie) like game graphics.. It's no pipedream.. 3d was a dream just last year now it's possible. I want an all in one console SO BAD.. |

I have this game, my sims3.com handle is pc452000 look for my stuff. i really like this game, i even like the fact i hate a chethappens trainer to give e $99 million and no motive decay and 99 million lifetime points. also i have the no censor patch, its great not having those annoying blocks over what we all have in real life. |

the psp go, is to be short, a huge step up from my psp 1001. yes i still have a psp 1001. i hope the small screen helps prevent white dots on the screen. i will not miss the crunching noises my psp 1001 made when loading stuff or playing movies. ugly or not, im getting one. btw sony will have a psp rental store. i got aan email with a survey sayinng would u like a psp rental store for game and vid's. i said of course i would!! |

This game certainly has replayablity. The trophies you see as ?????? are unlocked when you play FLOWER over and over again. I am glad I bought this game. It is a NICE change from the normal shoot and decapitate games. Im wondering what the definition of GAME is to GAMESRADAR.com since under the "you'll hate" part they say this isn't a game. Sorry Gamesradar.com your totally wrong. Its not short in anyway, like I said before the more you play the more you UNLOCK!! Gamesradar.com how about unlocking all the trophies BEFORE reviewing on this site!! You have no idea how good this game is, it's far from the run of the mill and, achieves what no game can. Playing without violence whatsoever. If anyone finds this game to be violent in anyway needs to get them selves check by a shrink. I like FLOWER and I will not delete this game off my 60 GIG HDD PS3 (launch model, the best one ever) |

I just got an ATI Radeon SILENT ASUS 3650 512MB DDR3 video card BUT I think I'll get this add-on. BTW I also just pre-ordered The Sims 3. The thing with my vid card it is a 2 slot fanless unit its awesome runs as cool as a refrigerator. Even when Overclocked. Every one needs an ASUS 3650!! lol and this new add-on for Spore. |

Playstation Home will not die anytime soon,. As some of you say. SCEA/I has poured MILLIONS of Dollars into this pet project of theirs. Saying HOME will fail is like saying no one will be in Warcraft online... NOT BLOODY likely.Home is so good even the computer division of Microsoft is using it for confrence's that would otherwise cost plane tickets, jet lag and hotel and rental expenses. Yes i think HOME needs a wake up call and release WAY more spaces, the red bull space is fine but lacks anything other than the fine airplanes you race BY YOUR SELF. I think if sony does listen to my closed beta request we should see more things that are multiplayer style like say paintball or even go karts or golf. I really think Home is going to be the future of The Universities that are online based I.E., Uni. of Phoenix Online. It will allow instructors if need be RENT a ps3 out to a down in the gutter student to use the ps3 and Home to get real time education. My uncle is a online Prof. he would only love to use Home for this purpose. AND not to mention it would be a solid reason to invest in that over priced clubhouse. I think if Sony really wants to maximize their overall presence they would whole heartedly agree with my logic. It would serve for those student who are in Grammer school to be taught while they are sick at they're real home. NO MORE Make up tests or home work EVER again!! Sony needs to allow streaming video in home and music to really get me excited about it again. I did like being in the closed beta but I had to keep mum about that fact until dec 11th. I just hope that Barack Obama makes a visit to Home and makes about 15 million new friends. This Home thing is waaaay bigger than any of us could have imagined. This is a tool for future ways of making really close bonds with people. I can'tgo see any of my buddies in the UK so I just wait till they are in home and have them invite me to their home. I must say this but Im not a fanboy okay, PS3 WILL DOMINATE 2009 AND B3YOND. I have all the consoles and I must say that the ps3 offers much better content. Yes netflix on my box is cool but I like a virtual world way better. |
