Yes! I am as psyched as can be for this game. It combines my two favorite things...playing dolly dress up and shooting people in face. KaPlow!

Also, Cybor Justice was awesome. It was one of the first games I purchase with my own money. When I got home and popped it in my Genesis my mother happened to walk by and was appalled at what she had allowed me to buy. But mom, their robots!

I'm enjoying the show fella's but as Vagrant mentioned, it sounds like you're whispering on my computer. I might suggest recording/mixing the levels high as volume can always be adjusted down on the listeners' end. Anyone who complains about it being too loud is a little girl anyway. Saying too loud is like saying too delicious or too sexy...no such thing.

Well done. You gentlemen are improving on a weekly basis and I'm looking forward to following TDAR:UK until it plateaus and the accents lose their novelty at which point I will wander off, likely distracted by a shiny object.

Observations / Suggestions.
One of you gents is quite a bit quieter than the rest. Also, I might suggest killing the background music while you're talking.

TalkRadar UK 1 - E3 comedown
While a goofy accent is fun at parties it remains to be seen if us "blokes" on the "other side of the pond" will be able to even understand this podcast but I'm willing to give it a crack.

Here's a peice of advice for ya' though. If you Euro-casters are going to ride the US's coattails at least do it on a different F'n day so as to spread the podcastiness around a bit in my otherwise bleak nearly TalkRadar-less week. Peace.

You mentioned "far more competent competition" could you elaborate (especially in regards to the XBOX 360?). I'm not trying to call you out, I'm just a fan of the genre who also happens to be pretty new to the 360 scene. I especially wouldn't mind if anyone wants to go back a year or two. Gracias.

QOTW: What game do you always go back to?
Diablo II LOD...for the same reason my grandparents hit Reno and Vegas twice an year an play almost exclusively slot machines. There is just something about random loot that's makes it hard to kick. Plus all the free multiplayer is pretty handy as well.

Can't wait to read the review guys! I know you're all pooping your pants playing GTA: Chinatown Wars, but come on!

Great article! It was good to see Phantasy Star get some love. That is a wonderful, albeit lost-in-the-shuffle game franchise. It's incredible to me that a system with such an expansive library like the NES would have such a runaway best game in SMB3. I guess that just speaks to the greatness of the game, or the immensity of some of the crap to hit that system.

About Me
Thanks to JHawk for getting me hooked on GR and T-dar. I've been playing games for over 20 years now and I don't plan on slowing down any time soon. I play mostly on SRPGs, RPGs, Guitar Hero, and Football games (both Madden and NCAA). I'm have not been a big fan of FPS since GoldenEye, mostly because I don't have a next-gen console and it's tough to rally people to the house to play on one system. I hope to bump up to a next-gen console soon, but I doubt it's going to happen, so I'll be content with my PS2 and DS to keep me gaming for a couple more years. Darn consoles for being so expensive! I look forward to getting on the boards, so I'll be seeing ya!
