PSN SFIII:TSOE would be awesome! *FINGERS CROSSED* *Realizes this will complicate subsequent gameplay* *FINGERS UNCROSSED BUT BREATH HELD* *STARTING TO FEEL FAINT*
I stopped listening to Billy Bob after his mopey tantrum on the CBC when host Jian Ghomeshi DARED to acknowledge Billy Bob was an actor as well as a musician.
I gave it a try last night. I like the idea of it, and I know a lot of gamers will eat it up. However, I'm feeling a bit of leveling up, game tracking, and achievement fatigue. I already have Steam achievements, Playstation trophies, Xbox/GFW Live gamerscore, and Raptr linked to GameSpot via Fuse. I'm finding too much of this kind of thing distracting from just playing the game. Still, good luck with this endeavour, Jeremie and co. Give the other social networking services some solid competition! There's an idea for the next social network! A social network to track how well your social network is doing compared to other social networks! I will STFU now.
I'm of two minds on this one. It's fun, yes, but I feel like playing up the antiquated stereotypes of Canada has already been done. I think Sony went for the cheap laugh here. A bit lazy. Kevin's list of things to do though: inspired brilliance.
The movie references the awesome River City Ransom when defeated bad guys disappear and leave coins behind. (I love that the money in the video game looks like actual Canadian coins. There are even toonies!)
You do this game a major disservice by neglecting to mention Module's phenomenal soundtrack! The music alone is worth more than the $7.99 (or your region's equivalent) this title costs.
Another for PSP: Game releases have slowed to a crawl, particularly games that are worth playing. My PSP's been serving me as little more than an MP3 player lately...
