loved the articvle, i made the mistake of buying the simpsons game. on wii. BAD move. ninty has just driven themselves right into the turd heap, and are now gleefully rolling around and mushing it into their faces with each new game. Wii for sale, mint condition, comes with 10 games, one of them guitar hero, with peripheral, recharging station (one that funning works!) two wii remotes with nunchucks, and a steering wheel. anybody? any takers? I might just sell it on ebay...

beyond good and evil, such a powerful and birlliant game, and guitar hero III, that thing is so additive, i was heartily dissapointed with guitar hero:world tour on wii, such a big let down for me. But i was stoked when i heard about beyond good and evil two, it better be good, they said they're doing all they couldn't do in the first one so i have high hopes!

there IS a way to avoid blue shells, but you have to be lucky as hell!
you need:
a boost 'shroom
a blue shell (duh)
and f**kloads of practise

the blue shell is programmed to hit about a second after it locks on to your coordinate, so is actually hitting about half meter behind so boosting at the exact moment it is about to pelt down onto you, boost! and you SHOULD avoid the blast radius IF DONE RIGHT

i still hate the bastards because 99% of the time, you won't have a boost shroom with you at the right moment. it happens mostly on 150cc mirror i find though, not on the internetz :S

i thought the thumb strap ws a wrist strap, it didnt fit, so i gave up, still haven't used it as a thumb strap yet even though i know full-well what it does. don't forget that wii internet channel was immediately obselete, too, due to lack of support for flash.

house of the dead 4 is already in arcades, you know, these games (not including overkill, of course) where designed to sit in the arcades, originally, and addictive veritable money making machines, their difficulty levels high due to the fact that they neeed to be or people would be like "well that was easy, but fun" and probably play it only as couple times after that, being able to complete them on only a few credits is what people pay and pay and pay to get to, which is why they where so damn hard. now with overkill you've bought the game so their's no need to keep you hooked and trying to get better every time because you've already paid for it so you complete it pretty much first time. imo anyway :P

yeah I'm sorry but i got just the game, and I got screwed, this game is all a load of crap punk songs, now don't get me wrong, punk is awesome, if done right (sex pistols, adam and the ants) but i bought GHWT expecting awesome, rock 'n' roll, AC/DC, guns 'n' roses, velvet revolver, queen, you get the gist, and i got a barrel of shit, with a couple of gems mixed in, now those gems are great, but mixed in with the shit they're clouded over and it's difficult to see the good side of the barrel, and after long you give up searching for the gems, because you don't have the patience to sift through the shit to find those gems, because that's how bad it is. oh and the gameplay sucks, the notes don't look as good as on GH:III and it all feels very sterile, I don't even have RB2 and i recommend it over this.

yeah I'm sorry but we wii owners are getting screwed here, we have terrible graphics, LOW memory (come on, 512mb? that's just a joke) "casual" games, and now this? all for thesame price as a 360, to boot! I am sorry but ninty really needs to sort itself out, sure it's a revolution (geddit?) but they need to seriously make this console more powerful than a shoebox. It's so annoying when you thiunk something call is gonna come out for wii and then suddenly they pop up and say "well we couldn't do that because the wii can't cope." which, frankl is apalling, CoD5 is the biggest example of that, i was looking forward to going through campaign mode with my friend, but nope. wii hasn't got the power, so come on nintendo! you where epic! the wii just need more power and actual hardcore games! casual gaming may make a lot of money, but what about the people who care about gaming? it just means upgrading the wiis capabilities, people will have a choice! you'll still have your "casual games" (shallow pieces o' crap) but us hardcore gamers who wanted a bit of power with their console can have some fun with th £39.99 they spend on their game! Come on. You know it's possible. Just use those minds that invented mario and realise that people want more than party games and "imagine: teacher" (oh yes, it's real) give us something with clout.
