I have a theory that the Normandy gets destroyed early in the game, with Shepard as the only or one of few survivors. That could be why why Nassana Dantius says "Shepard? But you're dead!" in the trailer.

With regards to the file name. Kane's Wrath for C&C3 was "Cnc3ep1.exe", which kinda kills your theory. To me, the campaigns do suck, but I love the Commander's challenge.

Hey there! So, you want to get to know me, eh? Well, allow me to introduce myself: My name is Lasse, I hail from Denmark, I am 15 years old and I am in my final school year. I spend most of my free time playing PC Games and just plain thinking. Yep, I am nerdy enough to spend my time thinking. I'm a geek through and through, although not the kind of geek who spends his entire life playing WoW, I resent WoW like the plague itself. At this point, there are basically two games where you can hope to catch me: Primarily Team Fortress 2, although I do play Red Alert 3 now and again.
