Zeipher commented on: GC 09: Gamescom's BIG games played |
|
| That's crazy, because Gamestop.com has MW2 listed for $59.99. Any idea what other games cost that amount? Here's a short list: Assassin's Creed 2, Madden 10, Batman: AA, Guitar Hero 5, Capcom Ultimate Alliance, etc. Its wild...it seems as if when a game first comes out...its always the same base price. It's obvious you have access to the internet, so I must assume you are within driving/horseback riding/covered wagon distance of a Gamestop. So maybe break out the ol' Conestoga and put your conspiracies to rest. |

| Lolz @ Samael Sucks not being able to play online on easy mode, huh? n00b And @ aion Your idealistic "fight the powers that be" speech is pretty damn weak. As every other logical user has pointed out, you don't have to buy the $160 version...but you have the option, and options = good business practice. Yeah, maybe I'd play Counter-Strike...if it was 2003. Next you're gonna tell me that I'm gonna get "Explosive single player" from Doom. |

Zeipher commented on: The Top 7... games that need prequels |
|
| Do you guys really need to pump 4000 characters into these comments? No one reads them. Keep it concise, kids. I'll agree to any Infinity Ward creation. Secondly, the reason Kingdom Hearts is great is because its a hybrid. Sacrificing that makes it into another average series. |

Zeipher commented on: QOTW: What's your favorite N64 game of all time? |
|
| @PurplePython I still remember the music to that game! @GR Super Smash Bros and Goldeneye were definitely revolutionary. However, they're hardly an answer a critic of the N64 should provide (I was fat at the time of its release, so I consider myself the resident expert in the system). I'm gonna go with Winback. At the time, I found the story to be exciting, the gameplay to be challenging, the cover system to be awesome, and the multiplayer to be time consuming. Sure you had to watch the tutorials to really get down your controls, but every game shouldn't have the "pickup-and-play"-ability of shitty Wii games. |

| Once, I geeked out for a game so badly, that I went and made an account at Gamesradar's website. | |

| The simplification of Silent Hill 2 made me laugh. And also Bioshock: "And takes young girls with him." Lolz |

Zeipher commented on: Why BioShock 2 is a TERRIBLE IDEA |
|
| But you're missing the point. Bioshock isn't perfect. It was good, but lets stop pretending its the "end all" video game. The weapons lacked imagination, Andrew Ryan's death was unnecessarily forced to try and fortify an "OMG" plot-twist that really fell short (you're a pawn, so I'm gonna use my power over you to beat myself death?...okayyy), the final boss was weak and not epic at all, and the game lacks any replay-ablity. Great series > great games. The developers should want to make their series legendary, not hesitate because the first one was "too good" to improve on. If Bioshock was perfect, then they should leave it be. Its not. Therefor, continue the series. |
