howz about....
: You can carry dozens of weapons around with you but the only one that you can see is the one you're holding.(GTA, Half-Life, etc, etc)

: During gunfights your comrades can stay out of cover for minutes and never get shot at once, but as soon as you poke your head out everyone on the other side will start firing at you.(CoD, GoW, etc, etc)
