I actually started playing Deadly Premonition about two days ago, and everything about it reminds me of the Sega Dreamcast for some reason. From the weird control system that seems to have been designed to only take one analogue stick into account to the bombastic music and utterly weird voice acting, it just seems like a throwback to the days of Shenmue and House of the Dead.
Also, it has the best pause screen of any game, ever.
