I really, really like the "Ask a Journalist" segment. I find the third segment to be the least interesting and it spices it up quite a bit. I say you keep it and keep it nice and long.
figured that I should mention that I really, really like the "Ask a Games Journalist" section of the podcast. I usually find the tird segment the least interesting and I feel that spices it up.
Super Sweet!!!! looking forward to the rest of the converage. I am so glad you guys got some exclusive stuff for the game I want the most this year! I am always on you site, so it will be easy to find.
I so want this game!!!!!! Too bad I probably won't be able to scrounge up the case until around christmas time since I decided to pre-order Dragon Age. It will be good and all (Bioware game), but this game looks so awesome... Well that settles it. Dragon Age will be my beloved dialouge-heavy game where I beat the shit out of people and Borderlands will be my twitchy shooting fun. I well find a way to get both of them day one. Somehow.... Oh and did anyone actually see a grenade kill anyone in the videos?
I think it's pretty funny how many people are being offended by an aritcle that is supposed to be humorous (So it isn't entirely serious). And yes, I also think that most of these ads are really cool. They also disappoint me cause watching these all in a row, I wish the games had a more solemn and reflective mood. :(
When watching the Bubsy video it was very hard for me to not take my laptop and sandwich my face between the screen and keyboard. I think I died a little inside. Why did I watch it? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have only played Dead Space and The Simpson's Road Rage. I loved Dead Space and I actually thought Simpson's was pretty good. Although I wasn't very critical of games back then since I played them casually so that is probably why I liked it. That and it was the Simpsons
That was a really good review. I wasn't interested in this game before and I still probably won't get it. It is possible I will, though since the weapons seem really cool.
When reading this I did think it sounded like it is similar to Bioshock(which I love), but I also noticed that it sounded a lot like the Half-Life series, too. And since I absolutely love Half-Life and especially Half-Life 2 you may have just convinced me to buy this game,
Brett. The wierd thing was that the way you built up the controls made me expect more. While I don't doubt the controls work well and are a vast improvement over what they used to be, that is because the first game controls were simply just bad game design for something like a first person shooter(and I would say for any game). Anyway, good review.
...And Hank "THE MOTHERFUCKIN' TANK" Gilbert hits one out of the park with that highly enjoyable feature. I know next to nothing About comics (except Watchmen which I have read) and I still had a great time reading this. Maybe it's because of the authority that Henry wields as he judges Comic-based games. I think it is pretty stupid to kill off the original Batman, not that my opinion matters, unless it is due to old age. He's Batman for Christ sakes
@ DeadGirls
no fallout 3 is one of the best games ever made. It deserves a ten out of ten.
I raped the game and got all 1550 achievment points and it was a very very enjoyable 120 hrs that i am glad i had done
yea this dlc wasnt good at all all you did was shoot aliens and press buttons and travel so far just to go in the same looking hallway as you were in before. what a waste of $10!
ha i bought this game and played like 2 hours of it and found out it was pretty boring I then traded it to my friend for fable 2, mercs 2, burnout paradise and shaun white snowboarding! lol
