I'm glad my parents didn't let me play games like GTA until I convinced them at age 16. It gave me ample time to develop into the person I am now, which is to say not a spoiled, malevolent brat.
Of course, I did get away with Duke 3D for my Packard Bell when I was 10, but even then I knew the difference between what I was witnessing through playing the game versus reality. I've never even been to a strip club, so I suppose the game didn't affect me that strongly. :P
Dude, so much of my youth revolved around the Crash Dummies. This game (and the Genesis one) being instrumental in my love. I always thought the games were hard, and now that I know the history of LJN, there's no doubt in my mind as to why.
Just a quick note about the Castlevania theme. The name of that track is "Vampire Killer", which is also the name of the whip that the Belmont clan wields. Fun fact!
I'm actually quite surprised at how many people are confusing the two. At first, I was confusing the names, I knew which was which and that they were indeed two different styles of game.
@michaelmcc827: It's (mostly) a joke article. Chris Antista wrote it. He knows how to make things funny. I chuckled. Seriously, did you even read anything in the article?
