Best Simpsons game is easily Virtual Springfield. Hardly a game admittedly, but my fondest memory is playing Larry The Looter. And discovering that no matter how many times you play it, you'll ALWAYS find new hidden jokes or references.
That and spending every summer playing the Arcade Game.
I was lucky enough to get the Resident Evil/Circle Pad bundle pack, which you could pre-order here in the UK from only one store (Zavvi) but for the same price as Revelations on its own (£29.95). Since release they've upped the price to normal "game + Circle Pad" price (£45), so I basically got the Circle Pad Pro for free. Excellent.
And now I have, I totally agree with you Henry. It feels like a regular control pad, and Resident Evil plays just like 5 - with the added crucial bonus of being able to MOVE WHILE AIMING! Wow!
Also, I really, really hope Nintendo use it for Luigi's Mansion 2. That's currently my only concern about that game as the GameCube controls were perfect.
It IS getting all patched in to the current version, just like they did with the first game's Enhanced Edition. GamesRadar is literally the only site that hasn't reported this fact.
The not-so-great parts sound like all my fears about this game have been realised. You can't just hand a license to another developer and expect to have another game of the same quality. So the cinematic action scenes that are the trademark of Uncharted are mostly just cutscenes? Wow.
I'll wait for the reviews thanks (truly, thanks GR!), and considering this is the game my purchasing of the Vita relies upon it better get good fast.
Yes, Wind Waker and its two DS sequels are clearly the last in the series - and Link there is the Hero of Winds. And the New World is the one from Spirit Tracks, which they discover between that and Phantom Hourglass.
Um, The Witcher 2 sold millions and will continue to do so - hell, I've got the Deluxe Edition and I'll buy it again if I see it on Steam for a good price. This is what you get when you treat your customers properly.
It sold 250,000 on CD Projekt's own GOG.com alone.
As for the rest of the rebuttal about Ubisoft's crappy DRM which stops people from playing their games legally but gives pirates the best trouble-free version, last-minute pointless delays, and regular PR nightmare comments like this guy's, I really can't be bothered. Go to a site that actually gives a s**t about the PC like Rock Paper Shotgun for the proper view.
Halo doesn't have any classical music. It has music. Very good music, a classic soundtrack, but not "Classical". I think you should look up what that word means in terms of music.
Also, this is all songs. There aren't any songs in Halo (don't worry though, A LOT OF COMMENTERS SEEM TO BE MISSING THIS POINT TOO.
It's still a piece of major info that we didn't want to know, from a game we're looking forward to that we already know too much about. I knew there was a fourth playable character, but I CHOSE NOT TO KNOW. Then Mr. Cooper goes and sticks it in the goddamned headline!!
For me his appearance in this trailer shows just how much SEGA don't get their fans. They think we love Shadow and will cheer when he appears in a trailer by surprise. Nope.
It's them trying to sneak in appearances by all of Sonic's friends, so when we find out that Sonic Generations is packed with them - just like every other Sonic game we don't want - it will soften the anger.
We'll see. 10-1 Silver, that stupid Princess, the Werehog or Chip's in the next trailer, mark my words.
On the bright side though, I loved all the "Dreamcast-era" games (how exactly does Sonic Heroes count in that though?).
His appearance in SA2 was fine - but since then he's been a symbol for everything wrong with the series. Shadow The Hedgehog and Sonic 2006 in particular.
That and spending every summer playing the Arcade Game.
