TheCorpulent1 commented on: Left 4 Dead (Xbox 360): Left 4 Dead Survival Pack - hands-on |
|
| Man, I thought I'd seen pretty much everything in L4D until that last video. Two tanks... simultaneously? That's just cruel. But I will get this, play it, and love it, I'm sure. Gotta love Valve's commitment to quality and keeping stuff free now that pay-DLC has become the standard. |

| "Just what we need: 3D card buying options getting even more complicated." That about sums it up for me. I love that they're constantly advancing PC technology, but that winds up meaning more and more complications and research when it comes time for me to build a new PC. Ah well, I'm sure I'll deal with it. Solid-state hard drives make me excited in ways I'm not comfortable describing here. |

| Not really excited for anything there. Diablo 3 and Deus Ex 3 look somewhat interesting, but I'm not jumping for joy over them. | |

TheCorpulent1 commented on: (Xbox 360): Wolverine cuts loose |
|
| Looks pretty cool, although I'm very skeptical since it's 1) a movie tie-in and 2) an X-MEN movie tie-in. I'm glad they've finally adapted Wolverine's healing factor to a video game, though. If only Master Chief and all the other FPS grunts hadn't already been doing it for about 5 years now... | |

| I'll admit it: I don't like Vin Diesel. At all. I think Pitch Black is literally the only movie I've liked him in, and he was a totally one-note bastard in that. So his presence might've influenced me to not even try this game normally. Having seen GR's articles on it so far, though, I have to admit that it sounds like a really fun game. Like the best parts of GTA, Burnout: Paradise, and every ridiculously over-the-top action movie ever made put together. I'll probably rent it at the very least. |

TheCorpulent1 commented on: Yoshi's Island DS (DS): Twelve sequels we actually want |
|
| Road Rash, Zombies Ate my Neighbors, and Earthworm Jim all desperately need sequels. Those games gave me some of my best memories from the Genesis. I'd throw Gunstar Heroes in there too. Take a Castle Crashers-style approach and make a top-notch 2D game that recaptures the feel of the original with HD textures and online co-op. |

QOTW: What game are you most ashamed you never beat?
And, of course, I'm the kind of person who refuses to move on to the DLC before I've finished the main game, so I have yet to even purchase The Lost and the Damned.
