Good top 7, BUT, I feel there was a big omission made; Garth Ennis' Punisher MAX run. I know they made a decent-at-best Punisher game that Ennis wrote in 2005, but if they based a game off of his 60 issue MAX run, they could make an absolutely amazing game. It could be maybe Gears of War style, but with emphasis on setting huge, gnarly traps or catching big groups of gangsters off guard or something. It could be SO good and gory and adult and fun.
You know who disagrees with you JayQ? Patton Oswalt, Zach Galifianakis, Paul F. Tompkins, David Cross, Bob Odenkirk, Will Forte, Will Ferrell, Bill Hader, John C. Reilly, Paul Reubens, Brian Posehn, Weird Al, Fred Willard, Jeff Goldbum, Aimee Mann, Rainn Wilson, Michael Ian Black, The Flight of the Conchords, Andy Samberg, Fred Armisen, Ben Stiller, and Paul Rudd, just to name a few. Let's not talk down to hardworking comedians who are friends with probably every funny person you like. If SR3 had gotten Jeff Dunham or Dane Cook to do their commercial, you'd be in the right. But they didn't. They gave two absurd cable-channel weirdos money and creative freedom. You don't have to like their show, but you also don't have to take a sh**ty tone about it.
I was on the fence about whether I should buy this game, but the fact that they gave Tim and Eric money to make something absurd pushed me over the edge. Can't wait to play it.
Here are some facts about me. 1. I love Gamesradar a stupid lot. Talkradar even more, and that's a lot. 2. I hate myself for not commenting as much as a good reader should. 3. I would really like to have that headset.
I just got a new person to listen to Talkradar. She loved it. Also got her to sign up for the site. She would not have signed up for the site if she hadn't listened to Talkradar, and I wouldn't have told her to if I hadn't listened to Talkradar. Never stop. You are my only real link to the gaming world any more. With so many comedy podcasts and so much comedy content for me to take in, Talkradar (and because of it, Gamesradar as well) is the only thing outside of playing video games that connect me to the culture and world that I still hold dear. Never. F***ing. Stop.
