...which is why there is no point playing single player. It's literally exactly the same except with dumb bots instead.

@chaoticinfinityx:
While you may be right about the mistakes the GR team made about the game, the fact that you had to point out those mistakes pretty much proves their point. That those gameplay elements were so difficult for seasoned gamers to figure out suggests that, just as has been stated, the game is far too difficult to start, with unclear gameplay mechanics.

Awesome article, but I found that at least a tenth of this I already know, because of reading GR articles. Some things in this article have been mentioned so many times...

Wow!
I actually recognise all of the arcade games on this list.
Not exactly a hardcore Japanophile when it comes to games, but I've been learning Japanese for a few years and I went for two weeks.
That drum game is awesome.

I agree with most of these, but I have been scared by many games. However, each time you get scared in a game its, 'Ohshit scary thing I'm dead now start again'. The horror is gone instantly, whereas other media such as stories have literally given me nightmares. When I first started playing Bioshock I was completely freaked out by the environments, the splicers, and especially the sounds. But once you die a few times, and realise that all you have to do is keep running out of the vita chamber and firing the shotgun over and over, it's not scary anymore.

This looks great.
It was interesting to see the combat, seems like unlike the usual fps enemies (e.g. one shot, one kill) these are quite difficult.
Reminded me of Oblivion where if you don't make an awesome strong fighter character, you end up running in circles throwing fireballs for about 3 minutes per enemy.
Awesome.
