“As a software maker, Nintendo believes that its packaged software should be sold to our consumers in a form so that the consumers will know in advance that they can enjoy playing the software they purchased just as it is. We believe that our consumers will be able to feel more secure if we offer our add-on content as an additional structure in which blah blah blah."
This is Iwata's well-articulated, very pretty way of saying that New Smash Bros won't have DLC characters. Sigh.
Ubisoft makes some pretty good stuff, but I can't think of any of their IPS that I'd like to see as an MMO...
Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for this MMO. Let Ubisoft be the first to test the waters for a Wii U MMO. Once Nintendo figures out what works and what doesn't, then I'd like to see a REAL triple-A MMO from The Big N itself.
...Am I the only hardcore PokeFreak who really likes this game? The original WiiWare version surprised me; I'd end up playing it for 3+ hours at a time. This sequel has been no different (so far).
I'm so focused on dodging attacks and attempting to catch the little guys that I don't notice the repetitive qualities. This game has been brought to its knees for being too simplistic, when all we really need to remember is that it's a good ol' time.
At least you gave it a fair review! Nevertheless, I think the game deserves a 7.5, at least.
"Perhaps they’ll finally update the 3DS software with new Find Me quests and puzzle pieces. Or how about a more concrete release date than “before the end of 2011” for those GBA Ambassador games?"
The conference will most likely consist of the above. I remember reading something that said there would be an update for Find Mii later this year. And yeah, what about our GBA Ambassador games?? The NES games were a bit of a letdown...
Though I must say, I'm enjoying all of Nintendo's recent press conferences. They feel like mini-E3s!
It's funny to listen to the guys on this podcast, when Carolyn is the only one who knows what she's talking about. Sorry fellas, but Pokemon battles =/= MVC3 fights. I should be on Pokemon Monday... XD
Yes, this is an excellent idea. People were tossing Wiimotes through their TVs from playing Wii Sports...because that's such a hardcore game. But, in no way, shape or form is a freaking BOWLING BALL going to cause any trouble. Wrist strap, you say? Foolproof.
A completely unnecessary accessory that has no tech inside and therefore doesn't connect to the 360 console? Can't be more than $20. They'd better not overcharge; I could just hold a beach ball, y'know.
I really want the link to the fileshare that has the first Reach map you played on. The Infection match where you were driving down the chute into the teleporting water!
This loooks pretty awesome. Although, I'm afraid that I might feel lost in the story. I've never played any Tekken games, save some dumbed-down verion at an arcade..
