Wait, unfailing praise for FF 7?

Doesn't GR spend most of it's time thats talking about FF 7 ridicule it for being overhyped, and not as good as previous entries?

Well, for Halo, it's mostly opinion.

Most people will say Half-Life or some other game because they don't like Halo, most commonly because lots of other people like it, and since it's popular, it must suck.

Halo improved on the genre quite well, and unlike Half-life, it had a great multi-player system.

Though half-life was a good game, it really does come down to opinion.

FF7 is better then GR is saying, but not nearly as good as your saying it is.
