I wonder if Ryan read waaaaaaaaay too much Edgar Allen Poe. This is why the aftermath is sooo friggin' scary. Poe was probably one of his influences.

I also wonder if he read al little too much Mein Kampf. Being the messiah of his city is a little too Hitler-like.
