QOTW: What's your fondest Sega memory?
The first time I played a Sonic game on my cousin's old Mega Drive. I went so fast I didn't care if I sucked.

QOTW: What peripheral let you down the most?
Wii Motion Plus. Good on paper, bad in practice. Can you say "twitchy as a sugar-high squirrel"?

QOTW: What once-beloved game do you now hate?
Animal Crossing: Wild World, simply because my favourite neighbour Bob left.

QOTW: What overused gameplay element are you terribly sick of?
Turn-based fighting. If I come up against some super-powerful monster, I'd much prefer to dash about, shooting or slashing or whatever-ing the hell out of it rather than being forced to wait my turn before running up, hitting the enemy, running back and then waiting for it to do the same thing. Battles aren't that unrealistically polite. I also could do without any games that let you live vicariously through a virtual depiction of yourself like some overbearing parent that lives through their kids by sending them to beauty pageants or soccer games. Plus, the number of things you can do in these games can actually be done in real life, plus the graphics are a whole lot better. "Hey man, whatcha doin'?" "Oh, I'm just watching my Sim watching the TV." Of course, this crap is going to carry on. "What's going on?" "Oh, I'm watching my Sim playing The Sims, and his character in his game is also playing the Sims." It'll be like a never-ending vortex of futile stupidity.

QOTW: What's the angriest you've been at a game?
Assassin's Creed because running footloose and fancy-free across rooftops earns me a well-aimed arrow in my thigh. I can't count the number of times I've been leaping and climbing about only to be nailed in the leg by some asshat archer.

QOTW: What big reveal do you most want to see at E3?
I'd love to see the looks on the crowd's face if Sega leapt up onto the stage and unveiled the Dreamcast 2. I wouldn't know how to feel.

E3 09: Project Trico vs The Last Guardian - a picture comparison
Apparently, the creature (which is actually named Trico) needs to be cared for, either by feeding it barrels or removing the arrows and spears in its body.

QOTW: What game are you most ashamed you never beat?
Oh god, I never finish anything. In fact, in my eleven years of gaming I have only ever finished five games, three of which star Kirby.

I buy my games at GAME, their prices are pretty reasonable. HMV's still a good place to buy CDs and DVDs though.
