"Dungeon crawling aficionados should play Shiren the Wanderer, Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja, Etrian Odyssey, or several other games that offer deeper, better, and more challenging takes on this style of gameplay."
One down, 2 to go. I hope that Shiren and Odyssey are as good as Izuna 2 was.
As for this game, I was half-heartedly sucked into the plot (I'm a sucker for anything with a mediocre plot), and I had a good time with it, for the most part (Dang you Aegis cave!) until all the stories ended. From that point the only thing that kept me playing was waiting for Izuna 2: The Unemployed Ninja Returns and the desire to grind until I reached level 100.
I love Dungeon Crawlers. LOVE THEM. So naturally, I'd like this game. It turns out, that it is the best thing to ever hit DS (In my opinion. Which no one probably takes as credible anyway). It was hilarious, fun, and refreshing. I also feel that I was able to tolerate this game easier than most because I tend to either overlevel, or just get lucky when it comes to dungeon crawlers.
I'd have given it a 10, but I'm biased. I like this review-It accurately captures what this game is about.
Lynx, yours is the Pop Culture refrence, because you used CKY, or the band "Camp Kill Yourself" (Better known as CKY)
And, WH47 D0 Y0U M34N 13375P34K!?
Also, mine is GOING to be Sizzler. And I don't see the refrence there. It stemmed from "SIZZLERSPERSONALPIKACHU" which I put for my Nsider username because I was going to Sizzlers that day, and I had to do something Nintendo related. I was also craving a personal pizza. I'm actually disgusted with what the name actually MEANS though, because, who would do such a cruel thing to suck a cute little electricity mouse?
So would it be Pop Culture?
But the name is just Sizzler. That could also fit under Sexual. Or, if you were thinking of melted flesh resulting from a flamethrower, that could fit into the Violence one. My first name is the CAPS category.
