@Boomaga: Yeah, but at least you were able to experience that. The reason why I'm so pissed about it is that I KNOW it would have blind-sided me completely, and I would have loved the game more for it. I mean, every other game on here is at least 3-4+ years old, but Portal 2 JUST came out. I love the franchise dearly, but I just haven't had the cash to pick up the game yet, so to have such an awesome moment ruined for me feels like an even greater betrayal from the GR staff. The best way I can put it is this: Having someone tell you that Aerith gets killed by Sephiroth RIGHT BEFORE you yourself are there in the game. You cannot begin to fathom the amount of nerdrage I witnessed because of that. |

Ha! Butt in the face... you clever devils. @Hitman: I don't think that's a drell. It has four eyes and is much meatier than a drell would account for. Anyways, I'm super excited about this. I hope they didn't make the serious changes to the HUD that they were talking about. I love my Mass Effect exactly as it is. |

I think that the Reapers are the best bet here. Point a) they created the mass relays. Point b) they have survived for millions of years and are the only "known" species able to do so and bring the really old dust and brave the gravity wells and survive and... yadda yadda. The names of the trophies themselves seems to invoke the images of a major military action. Maybe the Reapers have entered the known galaxy and started decimating everything in their path? Perhaps Shepherd plans to try and fight them BEFORE they reach Earth, but still hasn't gained the support of the Council? Maybe Dr. Kenson has made some breakthrough regarding the Reapers and it's up to Shepherd to protect her? Who knows? |

A couple things: A) HE DOES HAVE WHITE HAIR! The top of his head is not a reflection of the light. Black hair when met with the sun does not have a reflection that pale. That top portion of his head IS white hair. B) This is being made by Ninja Theory. So the first thing that comes to mind for me? -- 'Is Andy Serkis working on this?' And low and behold that familiar voice comes up in the trailer. If you cross reference the voice from the beginning of the trailer with the trailers of Monkey from NT's new game Enslaved (which Serkis also is working on as the lead role) you'll hear the same New York, Bronx, deep ruffian accent. And honestly? I think he's really going to become a huge name in video games. C) To the comment about the Gothic architecture: You can clearly see there's still Gothic-influenced buildings both in the end of the trailer and the screenshot posted in this article. Another thing to consider: Dante is half demon, we really don't know how old he is, do we? This could honestly be twenty, thirty, maybe fourty years in the past, where more modern buildings were still existant. And D) Something I just thought of: This may not even be the real Dante. This kid's obviously in a mental hospital being experimented on and if you look at the part of the trailer where it flashes quickly between "Dante" and the chained up person, Dante starts swaying like he just had a violent head rush. Is this all an illusion? Or is he somehow linked with the chained up guy? A little off the wall, but worth considering when details are so scarce. |

I think you should have included inFamous with the PS3 listing. It has a different enough vibe to it to set it apart from the other console games, and being a PS3 exclusive, it could definitely add a great deal of fun and depth to the person's growing library. |

I, personally, am hoping for a multiplayer game. Not only does the atmosphere already help lend to that concept, but the team that created GOW3 already had on the brain, which means they might have thought of a nice way for it to work. If it succeeds, it could very well be the next Left 4 Dead. If it fails... Super Monkey Ball. |

When I originally read that Final Fantasy was being pegged as an Interactive Movie instead of an RPG, I picked up my Fanboy Sword and Shield and was prepared to defend it to the bloody end. Then I read the actual snippit for it, and I realized... he's absolutely right. I thought back on my time playing the different Final Fantasy games and recognized what he meant. Though I'll still call it an RPG, just for conviency's sake, I'll have that nagging reminder in the back of my mind that it's only an Interactive Movie. DAMN YOUS!!! |

Yeah Synster...what are you thinking you douchie. Just kidding. Anyways, I actually enjoyed the DLC. Though it is pretty short, it kept me interested with the newer harder platforming and the great relationship between the Prince and Elika. The fact that they ended it that way only makes me love the game more. But I've probably become a fanboy now so... Also, it still has replay value for me (at least a little). I'm trying to get the Platinum trophy for the whole game and I didn't get all the trophies on the first playthrough. |
