SilverWerewolf commented on: Beloved games we hate |
|
| I loved this article. Braid, Halo, WOW, Final Fantasy, Super Mario World, and GTA IV are among the games I can't stand, although GTA IV did grow on me a tad when I TRIED to move past the realism aspect. Plus, I agree with Tyler that WOW is barely more than a level grinder, as is Everquest II and other MMOs that I have tried. (In my opinion, Guild Wars escapes this classification since you can freely respec your skills and hire henchmen to help you.) |

| I need to get Dark Sector again. Hopefully, Midway is making good progress on Mortal Kombat 9. I'd love to see what kind of Fatalities appear, if Ed Boon's 'sick' comment says anything. |

| Don't forget the Rock Band Gang from the Today Show on NBC. Not that I'm knocking them for being bad, it's the enthusiastic looks they had playing Living on a Prayer. Surely, Rock Band has other songs they know. | |

| The aspect of religion should be interesting, but Deus Ex: Invisible War and Fallout 1 and 3 had the best fake religions, in my opinion. Still, dead bodies lying in a church? *shudders* |

Rabbids Go Home (Wii): Rabbids Go Home
I'm glad that Ubisoft finally gave us a platformer rather than another poor party game. But still, Ubisoft, stop teasing us and give us Rayman 4 instead of these demented rabbits. That's what the Wii needs right now.
Actually, in my opinion, the designers should start working on another enemy for Rayman.
Since the Rabbids were the original enemy Rayman was facing, and because we now know that the Rabbids have next to no gray matter under the ears, it would feel more like you're playing as a bully or street cleaner rather than a hero.
Again, Ubisoft, please start working on the next Rayman.
