| got 'em all and only play my 360. L4D2 has no equal and the pad is much friendlier (no-one uses d-pad anymore so what does it matter where it is?) the wii gets a look in every now and then what with HotD:Overkill, Resi4, DS:Extraction, NoMoreHeroes all being excellent games. PS3 just collects dust and still has no games (sorry GR but it doesn't) until this list's "future" titles become present day ones. MGS is more of a film, i buy a game to play and interact, not sit back and watch 80 minutes of cutscenes in the first 2 hours of playing (including 30 mins installation time - wtf?!) Uncharted games are the only ones that could see me buy a game for ps3 as LBP, R&C are kids games and there are enough generic shooters out there that KZ2 can be discounted, plus everyone is playing MW2 now surely? and i have that..... on xbox! |

Seabread commented on: FIFA 10 (PS3): FIFA 10 |
|
| I have a question, Dave M. have they sorted out the bugs where players suspended or injured would not make it back into the team during BAP mode? How about the relegation and promotion of teams as a result of game modes? or players suddenly being renamed numbers and, therefore, becoming inelligble to play? i expereinced all these in '09.... but it's still no where near as glitchy as PES, and at least it doesn't cheat. er, Tomsta666 (lol), what exactly has FIFA copied from PES? PES doesn't have 360 deg. dribble, it doesnt have a trick stick, they both introduced BAP at the same time (even though, technically, you could always do it on PES but with no reward/longevity). As for the control system. the only difference is re-pathing a few buttons (lob becomes shoot and vice-versa) no fucking way. change the controls? like, that's never been done before. you douche. I was a fan of PES ever since ISS:Deluxe on SNES but since PES'07 i got sick and tired of crappy sprites, buggy gameplay and no licenses. evidently, unlike yourself, i've been unbiased when approaching these games. you may want to try removing your head from your arse if you're to ever experience the best annual iteration of the beautiful game. FIFA is far superior in evey way. PES will have to find themselves an Arabian billionaire to get them back on top....and we all know that's never going to happen. |

|
| It hsould be a stipulation that no more games are to be made as a movie tie-in. they're always terrible. B:AA is the best superhero game, ever and all due to the fact it didn't try to mimick anything before it. it took the fundamentals of what made Batman Batman and built upon that with good characters, good story and, most importantly, great gameplay. More of the same soon please Rocksteady. |

Seabread commented on: Bayonetta (Xbox 360): 5 reasons Bayonetta is going to be amazing |
|
| so reasons why it MAY be amazing are: it's like DMC and... nothing else of note. Ultra Sexy? For fecks sake, i'm not even going into this one. Anything can happen? you mean whatever the programmers decide to happen will happen. these will be pre-scripted events. Combat? yes, you already said it was like DMC (not a particularly great thing imo - i hate hack and slash). Larger than life? you mean like a lot of, sorry, ALL fantasy games? what i've gleaned from various articles on this is there's nothing new to this game. The only thing that will distinguish it from others like it is better graphics and a female protagonist. This will crash and burn when people see it for what it really is - a regurgetation of tired, old, standard fare. |

Seabread commented on: GC 09: How PES 2010 rights last season’s wrongs |
|
| i bet PES still can't get the fundamentals right. even FIFA has massive flaws. not to mention the annual iteration that brings very little that's new (or should have been done in the first place). prime example - both titles are bringing 360 deg dribbling. WOW! why wasn't this in the game ever since analogue sticks were added to controllers? PES points are gone? great, but they still measure in meters (should be yards) still employ Clive Tildsley (who doesn't know shit and is about as charismatic as rape) and menus still look like shit. FIFA's polish (and official licences) make for a much better game tho they could do with adding a more extensive editor and the ability to switch between teams when making transfers (as opposed to dropping out to the menu EVERY FUCKING TIME!) until EA and Konami pull their fingers out and employ some proper beta testers (preferably people with actual "knowledge of football" instead of "opinions on soccer") all football games will consistently have huge errors and flaws. I'm missing this years footie games out of my "must buy" list. i still enjoy FIFA'09 and with very little added i see no reason to cough up another £50 for either |

|
| 2007 Conviction sucked ass. This reimagining will be way better, not least because of all the neat little things they've added, like projected images/cutscenes, Mark and Execute (so pleased this has to be earned otherwise it'd be too easy) and last known position. I hope they ensure plentiful use of the interactive interrogation sequences. | |

| *yawn* how boring. dont you think this article is a bit redundant? i mean, you know how long it takes for a game to be developed. how can they possibly stay up to date with canon if comics are being released during development? this is like me coming back to this article in a few years time and saying "hey, you forgot about this game or that game". i could have sworn i heard an interview that said Batman:AA had taken influence from the comics and not the films. | |

Seabread commented on: Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360): Still no PS3 interest from Valve |
|
| i just dont think the PS3 has the install base Valve want or need to justify the time and money needed to even port the game over. i dont think there are the technical limitations/ignorance that hindered the Orange Box port. I have all 3 current gen consoles and only ever play my xbox - for the simple reason it's got great games and all of my mates have one. there are a few good games on Wii (MadWorld,Metroid,NoMoreHeroes) but hardly any on PS3 - which has to yet start it's 10 year life cycle in my opinion. Hopefully LastGuardian will change that but at the moment it's just gathering dust cos i dont want to play MGS4 (i turned it off in disgust after spending 90% of the first hour watching cut scenes) Killzone/Resistance don't appeal to me and Infamous looks like Prototype's retarded brother. What else is there? I only keep it because of aforementioned LastGuardian,GodOfWar3 and L.A.Noire. Even my old PS2 games wont work because they removed the emultaion chip - bastard con-artists. Where's my firmware update to solve this? |

If you're going to write an article about "Firsts" and reactions to these kind of comments, you may want to edit your own comments (see second example in article) before putting them up on t'interweb for a second time. "You're Article sux" reads "You are Article sux" what? how the hell did you get to be a journalist with grammatical skills like that? |
| I used to use my PS3 for web browsing when my pc was broken - shame it doesnt support adobe flash seeing as VIRTUALLY EVERY WEB SITE USES IT, rendering the ability to browse moot! At least M$ didn't spend most of it's time talking about figures and stuff people dont care about, unlike Sony who, in addition to showing a lots of lovely coloured charts and sales figures (does ANYONE care?) devoted most of its time to bigging up the PSP! again, does anyone care? it's as if they're admitting defeat in the home-console market. Sony are comitted to a 10 year life/value span? well the ps3 has been out for 3 years already and hasnt started to be value for money yet. no 'killer/must-have' games out (imo). 360 is by far the better gaming console, even if i do have to pay £40 a year to play with friends online, at least i know people with a 360. | |

Seabread commented on: InFamous (PS3): InFamous |
|
| First things first - good review, Kudos. Now, stop bashing the reviewer. he's just calling it like it is. having spent the last few days watching vids and comparing the two games (inFamous and Prototype) i have to say the former definitely looks like the weaker cousin. i was intrigued at first but it looks to get repetative and bland like Crackdown, Just Cause etc. if there's not enough variety in a sandbox game then it'll fail. Prototype has more powers and a wider variety of them plus the ability to approach missions how you like. I've spent enough time jumping around Crackdown's city and liberating towns in JC to know i dont want to do it all over again. plus all these powers stemming from electricity (gliding?) doesnt do it for me. both games, tho unique in their own way were always going to be compared, and rightly so. they're out at the same time, they both involve a superhero/villain in sandbox cities with upgradable powers and a story to unravel. For all the haters - until YOU have played both you can't know how they compare, tho even then some will still argue the futile point 'cos of the platform exclusive balls (i didnt know Sony made contact lenses). I'm amused by the "GR hates the PS3" comments. I'm sure they dont, they - just like everyone else - probably think there's still not been a killer app' released. The only reason i'm keeping my PS3 is 'cos of the new Team Ico game. most of the best games are multi platform anyway so i tend to get them on the 360 simply because i find it a better games machine - that and i know a LOT more people with an xbox than a PS3. |

Xbox 360 (Xbox 360): Video: What happens when a girl smashes a 360...
i'd have thought that was fairly obvious!
she's tired of being bored? she should get herself a hobby other than having her knickers round her ankles, harlet!
her fella has a hobby, why does she have to have all the attention?
i hate needy bitches who think they're the be-all-an-end-all.
she ain't that hot, if hot at all.
i'd have thrown her through the plate glass window for fucking with my console, the moronic tit.
she could have at least saved herself some energy (and the obvious enbarassment that comes with showing how feeble she is) by just continuing to drop the xbox, not tap-tap-taparoo the damn thing!
and is it just me or is she laughing nervously when she shows him what she's done like he's might go thermo-nuclear and tear her apart?
