Bzzt! Wrong. First of all, Half-Life uses the Lambda symbol as its logo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lambda. I looked up Aphex Twin's logo and it barely looks similar. So yes, it can be denied.
Never mind, scratch Best Buy. Found out I'll need to have a ticket and be in line hamfully early to get one, so I'm gonna try GameCrazy instead. Hopefully they don't have a similar policy.
I'm gonna do it. Getting Dragon Age (and possibly L4D2, but that'll probably be long gone when I arrive) for like 35$ at Best Buy is just too good a chance to pass up. I'll try to make it there around 8am. Hopefully, most people while be too busy looking at Blu-Ray players and computers to notice a fantasy RPG.
Oh man, only just started reading the article, but your L4D3 character designs are PERFECT. One level would have to take place in Aokigahara forest, which is basically suicide central. There are dead bodies everywhere and you could have common infected hide amongst them.
However I'm really scared about your idea for AC3, mainly because it seems like the most likely thing they'll actually do. How are they going to factor in guns? Particularly futuristic guns? I really like the Desmond/future sub-plot/plot, much more than my friends do but ugh...they could ruin it.
I say spilt it into two story parts, switching more frequently this time. Have it like a chase movie, constantly moving from hideout to hideout. Have Animus sections during Bakumatsu-era Japan, where you play as a (HISTORICAL AND REALISTIC) ninja-type assassin and have the Desmond sections occur when you have to fight off Templars who've found you.
Phew. I just started with this article too...I'll try not to post again.
I play this on my cell phone all the time and love it. But that's where it should have STAYED. As a quick time killer. This game is not fit for a console release, even as a download.
I could care less about the R2-D2 thing. But those steampunk keyboards are LUSCIOUS. The second I get a better computer and around $2500 (which I'm sure will happen a few days from now /sarcasm), I'm getting one.
Despite your butchered english, I think you may be right. At least, the following solution worked for me.
-Move ring 5 five spaces right
-Move ring 3 two spaces right
-Move ring 4 five spaces to the right
-Move ring 2 five spaces to left
-Move ring 1 one space to left
Going to Japan next year with my college anime club! It'll be simultaneously awesome and frighteneing. We already intend to visit Akihabara, so this was a great and informative read.
Um...wow. I literally don't understand your post. Did you play the original L4D? Single-Player in L4D is the exact same thing as multiplayer, but with A.I. controlled allies. Completely baffling.
Getting it, getting it, getting it. I've never played a game with so much replay value before L4D (well, maybe GTA). I like playing single-player though (looking at the graffiti, achievements, trying to get funny dialog, etc.), so the even worse A.I. has me worried.
Hmm...I remember watching a teaser trailer for this a long time ago. I thought it had been cancelled, but I'm glad I was mistaken. If the gameplay is as good as the game looks...SW:TOR will have a serious challenger for my attention.
I just figured the few PC titles weren't worth mentioning since they're already dirt cheap, and were pretty much ignored by retailers across the board.
Plus, I was trying to weigh the overall value all of the discounts:
-$30 Console game > -$5 PC game
@superjw701: Thanks for pointing those out. I fixed them, and just to be on the safe side double-checked all the feathers against their respective maps. I found that the map for CR5 was also wrong and, more embarrassingly, the location of SP3 was wrong on the large map. I've updated the small map images for Venice and the San Polo district, but the large ones will take a little longer.
I'd like to thank everyone for their patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Thanks also to iahtebrandon and superjw701 for pointing out specific errors - that was a big help.
@iahtebrandon: You're absolutely right; thanks for pointing out the errors. Regrettably, these things sometimes happen when we're working with lots of similarly named, similar-looking images, but I've updated SP7, CS3 and CS7 with the correct map images. If you (or anyone else) see any other errors, please leave a comment or message me directly.
@newbie1511: Thanks for pointing that out. I'll check the video again today; it's possible I marked something down wrong, and if I did, then I'll post a fix.
EDIT: I found the problem - the fourth step (move the fifth and first rings right 5 times) should actually be to move them LEFT five times. Sorry about that. I'll change it in the text. Hope that's not too late to help.
OMG! I must say this time around I still feel like the Left4Dead series is gonna be around and as well an inspiration for other shooter games to come. Its amazing and I admire he melee weapons that alone made the replay value much higher for me than in the first Left$Dead. One thing I will admit is that his time around I notice myself dying more than did in the first one, not because of poor executions but, because this time around A.I is more likely to run into previous areas that we've wiped out and get swarmed by zombies or special infected, can't take down a tank as fast and effectively as in the first one, and there are more swarms of zombies to attack this time around.
I must admit this game I knew wouldn't let me down but, it is amazing at how repititous it isn't with all the new quirks, gadgets, assassination options, puzzles, landmarks, being able to make it rain with only 10 florins and watch the people of their cities go crazy just for a few florins and while they scavenge for the florins I simply walk thru the crowds and pickpocket everyone that is unaware of the diversion and loot them all blindly! I also love the chokeslam, OMG! This time around the game is far more compelling and creative. I was blown away by the intro, with Ezio and his family being framed and his father and two brothers were lynched for a falsely committed crime. Also im playing Left4Dead2 so I can't beat this game as fast as I normally would if I didn't have a girlfriend that lives with me, a full-time working job, and a social life like others that do not have these three key things to optimize ones GAME-TIME!!!!
@raist: I think that one becomes accessible when you renovate the mines. The entrance is on the north side of the outer walls, behind where the villa is.
@lnksmartt: We're working on it. Our hidden-glyphs guide, with puzzle solutions, should be up tomorrow. Your patience is appreciated.
