@OneEyedGoon If you don't want to get down to his level that's very good for you, but that doesn't mean you should try to stop people who ARE willing to do so..
Wow, looks like almost every user at gamesradar is a complete idiot. This doesn't mean he's going to leave the game out of cutscenes, it means that there's going to be a product besides the game that is going to be cutscenes-only, for those people who are interested on it but don't play videogames. YOU DON'T FUCKING HAVE TO BUY IT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO. It's a pretty awesome idea if you ask me, I would definitely like to have an edition of MGS3 Snake Eater that I could watch as a movie with my family.
It is in part understandable that you guys misinterpreted what Kotick meant, since he did say "take them out of the game". But still, you should at least wait till that's clarified before starting to tell him to go fuck himself. You didn't, wich makes you, in fact, idiots.
That looks great and all, but if the lightsabers don't chop peoples' body parts off and it takes more than 1 hit to kill a guy (or at least a standard stormtrooper), then it's worthless to me. If you want to make an awesome beat 'em up that's great, but if you want to make it in the star wars universe, make it realistic for that universe.
Jedi Outcast did it years ago, and it was great. There's no excuse for not doing it now.
I wanna know what the hell has been Kojima Productions up to! I already have that badass new Big Boss image as my desktop wallpaper, and it looks awesome
The first Monkey Island. There are some must-play games that I've never played, so I downloaded it a couple of months ago and dropped it when I entered the Monkey Head. I then moved on to Max Payne, another one of those great game thatI'd never played. Haven't finished it either, dropped it between 1 - 2 months ago.
Too bad I didn't answer the last QOTW. TRecently I've gone back to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, loved that game when I was a kid. After a little practice, I finally managed to achieve all of the hangar level's goals in one run =D
I really like papercrafting. I don't do it a lot because I don't have that much time to spare nor the money to buy ink cartridges, but I've made (not designed, made) some really cool models. It is a hobby that goes really well with videogames; since the models are designed not by companies but by... um.. dudes, you can find a lot of variety and things you like. I myself have made a Sonic, an awesome X-wing, a Mario, a Kirby, an incredible Blizzaial robot (from front mission 4) and a Majora's Mask Link that's really spectacular And you can find a lot of other models too.. WoW, Pokemon, Tomb Raider, Smash Brothers, MGS and a lot more, not only from videogames. How about a real-life size Lancer, or Master chief's helmet. They're great for anyone who wants to havemodels if thee kind of these kind of things and they look really, really nice.
Jedi Outcast was a GREAT game, but the standard dismemberment (wich included dismemebering hands and/or arms) was JUST OK. But the cheat really added a lot to the experience. IS IT SO F***** HARD TO TRY SOMETHING LIKE THAT ON EVERY STAR WARS GAME??? I was so excited to knoe that I was going to be able to play as a jedi in BFII, but the lightsabers completely sucked! they looked like crap, the beam was even separated from the, well whatever you call the part you grab with your hand (I'm argentinian so I'm kinda missing that word). the didn't dismember absolutely ANYTHING! whenever I killed someone it looked like if I was hitting them with some sort of electrified bat.
Jedi Outcast and Academy really were the games that best used lightsabers.
