I'm going to have to cheat a bit on my first entry.

1.) Megaman Series*

2.) Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

3.) Silent Hill Series*

4.) Street Fighter Series*

5.) King of Fighters Series*

*if I can't do series, then my tops for each are Megaman 2, Silent Hill 2, Street Fighter IV by a short margin over Alpha 3, and King of Fighters '98, as I haven't played XII yet.

Note: These are not ranking favorites over each other. Also, 5 is not enough. I wanted Okami, and a BUNCH of other stuff that got kicked off the list. /sadface

Actually it's not a typo. "As we're wont to do" is a phrase meaning something to the tune of "as we have a habit of doing".

I used to mess around with Rom hacks all the time, so this article made me laugh. Good stuff GR!

All in all, great article. I laughed at the "Impulse Buy" description, and the Crap Stone for the Werehog evolution.

The "Health Spray" description had me rolling though, lol.

I go back to the Megaman Anniversary Collection on my GameCube regularly as the Megaman games are my favorite series of all time. 90% of the time it's MM2, but sometimes I'll just play through as many of the games on the disc as I can in one sitting. It's all kinds of fun.

Truth be told though, if I had a working NES and the game carts I'd play those instead though, just to use the original controller for the nostalgia of it.

God damn Seth! Cheapest boss this side of King of Fighters. If he didn't have SIX special attacks and three command normals (as opposed to most fighters getting 4 special attacks tops), it wouldn't have seemed so cheap... but all I get is SONIC BOOM! SONIC BOOM! SHORYUKEN (every hit)! Teleport, teleport, Piledriver, Shoryuken, Tanden Stream Ultra Combo, Piledriver and the match is done... RAAAGH! SO ANGRY!!

The d-pad is awful. The game is still very playable, but you'll need to get used to jumping when you don't want to and some moves not being as responsive as you'd like (ESPECIALLY when using charge characters).

You think her thighs are big here, but have you ever seen the art for SFIII Third Strike? This is a definite improvement in my opinion.

I however will play solely as Vega, Guile, and DAN!

Also, I got my ass handed to me by the one Dhalsim player I'd ever seen... that was humiliating.

However, I destroyed a Bison player with Dan, so it made me feel better. Lol.

I have a resolution for 2009... Get the 'Invincible' Achievement on Megaman 9. I foresee failure, but I've got a year to do it, damn it!! Also I want to finish my backlog of games and game purchases... my wallet... ouch.

As for the prize, I'd love the Megaman Prize pack. That is all... lol.
