I have been Console-agnostic since the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube days so I can honestly say that I have had the pleasure to play all of the recent exclusives that have recently come out ;)
This isn't a take that, I kinda wish I didn't save up and subsequently spend all of that money on my PS3 instead of waiting for a price drop... although MGS4 and Uncharted 2 have all but made up for it.
With that said, I absolutely haven't touched my Wii in ages (I have had the pleasure of taking the time to play Dead Space: Extraction, No More Heroes and Mad World though) and probably won't until the next Legend of Zelda comes out...
I might have a foggy memory but I somewhat specifically remember that at the end of God of War 2 in the final area (I forget the name), there were murials (sp?)on the wall that depicted events of the first and second game and then their was a third one.
It had a bright star in the sky and three hooded men in the middle of the desert. What does that mean? It's a rather obvious reference to the Three Wise Men of the Christian Bible.
I might be grabbing here, although I could definitely see the series heading here, that after Kratos kills off all of the Greek Gods, with none left to rule he is able to assert himself as THE God which would actually in hindsight make sense seeing as how utterly bloodthirsty and maniacal the Old Testament's God is.
Again, I might be grabbing for straws AND my memory is now a little fuzzy (I plan on getting the PS3 compilation when it releases) but I clearly remember screaming that 'revelation' to all of my friends who had beaten God of War 2 when it came out.
If my memory isn't incorrect, then I would love them to go in this direction as that is a bit of a subtle foreshadowing that you have to pay active attention to see it.
Anyone that's bitching about either the PC Modern Warfare 2's lack of Dedicated Servers or Left 4 Dead 2 being released at all needs to grow the fuck up.
Quit your bitching, hit puberty and shut your collective stupid mouths.
After reading the entire article, I gotta say that this entire feature is made of yummy nostalgia goodness that threatens to unravel the very fabric of the intarwebs lol
Now, if they can wait until next console cycle, then we can have an all Gotham City Batman game but as is now, that just is not possible.
Doing an all Gotham Batman game in this cycle will result in the game being in developmental hell for years because that idea is just not possible with even a 50-man team. Sure they can just make a generic Gotham but wouldn't you rather have a Gotham done with the same amount of detail and love like Arkham Asylum?
I would rather there NOT be a sequel... I absolutely love this game, 10/10, blah blah blah
But the simple fact is that I honestly believe the success and greatness of this game was either just a fluke or a "one time deal". There is no fathomable way to replictate this game in any other environment other than Arkham and the sad fact is that most people myself included, don't wanna have a redo of Arkham.
Question- Why do you keep saying "dead little girl"? Kayako was in her late 20's when she died in both Ju-On and in her early 20's when she died in The Grudge >_>
Sooooo, did you REALLY watch the movie? Or are you saying all Asians look like little girls?
I Wanna Be The Guy has to be one of the funnest, and funniest, indie games I have played.
To be honest, if there was ever ANY way to actually pay for this game- I would regardless of the fact that I have beaten this game.
I really couldn't ****ing stand Ninja Gaiden 2 because of the difficulty level. Glad to hear they toned that shit down.
Also, I dig the inclusion of Momiji as I was a huge fan of the Ninja Gaiden DS game. Ayane is alright...
I don't know- I loved the hell out of the first Ninja Gaiden (I own the original, Black and Sigma) so the sequel really dissapointed me in many ways and I'm glad Itagaki is gone because I hated his elitist bullshit that he put on Team Ninja.
I greatly look forward to a Dead or Alive game without a cheating bitch of a computer!
Fear Effect
Fatal Frame (4th wasn't released here, NoA hates actual ****ing games)
The Suffering
System Shock
Deus Ex (Warren Spector isn't involved in the 3rd)
Conker's *Insert game that will never be made*
Shadowrun
Irrational Games (Company that made Thief, System Shock and was making a video game based off of Dante's Inferno)
@crazytar: UK article, UK release dates. But we'll update with the US ones as well.
@JackSkellingtonSkin: I think the author was trying to focus on original PSN/WiiWare games, rather than falling back on PSOne Classics or Virtual Console games. But thanks for the observation.
@superjw701: Thanks for pointing those out. I fixed them, and just to be on the safe side double-checked all the feathers against their respective maps. I found that the map for CR5 was also wrong and, more embarrassingly, the location of SP3 was wrong on the large map. I've updated the small map images for Venice and the San Polo district, but the large ones will take a little longer.
I'd like to thank everyone for their patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Thanks also to iahtebrandon and superjw701 for pointing out specific errors - that was a big help.
@iahtebrandon: You're absolutely right; thanks for pointing out the errors. Regrettably, these things sometimes happen when we're working with lots of similarly named, similar-looking images, but I've updated SP7, CS3 and CS7 with the correct map images. If you (or anyone else) see any other errors, please leave a comment or message me directly.
@newbie1511: Thanks for pointing that out. I'll check the video again today; it's possible I marked something down wrong, and if I did, then I'll post a fix.
EDIT: I found the problem - the fourth step (move the fifth and first rings right 5 times) should actually be to move them LEFT five times. Sorry about that. I'll change it in the text. Hope that's not too late to help.
@raist: I think that one becomes accessible when you renovate the mines. The entrance is on the north side of the outer walls, behind where the villa is.
@lnksmartt: We're working on it. Our hidden-glyphs guide, with puzzle solutions, should be up tomorrow. Your patience is appreciated.

@TriforcePlayer: I sort of wish I had, too, but I didn't think about the comparison until the review was already up. So I'll do it here:
In spite of the score disparity, I do think Arkham is a better game (although I'd probably also give Arkham a 10 if it were up to me). Again, though, it's an apples-and-oranges thing; Arkham is a taut, focused adventure in a relatively confined space that messes with your head, and ACII is about tearing ass through a wide-open, convincingly re-created moment in history. Although if the Arkham sequel is structured anything like ACII, I certainly wouldn't complain.
This isn't a take that, I kinda wish I didn't save up and subsequently spend all of that money on my PS3 instead of waiting for a price drop... although MGS4 and Uncharted 2 have all but made up for it.
