I'm really into cars as well so for me this is the best top 7 ever. I still have my Saturn along with Manx TT and Daytona USA. And I'm proud to say I'm one of the four existing Ridge Racer fans in the world.

Also Daytona is the best game ever made. And I'm not being sarcastic.

Yes, the production cycle has taken long for GT5, but it looks like it's going to pay off. The damage engine has been heavily reworked since the GamesCom demo. I'd also say the action is great, considering it has 16 cars on track as opposed to the usual 8 in most racing games (granted the A.I. could be a bit more aggressive, but I'll reserve judgment). A weather system is also looking likely too, according to a recent interview by Kaz. Add to that 1000 cars, 70 tracks, and the inclusion of WRC and NASCAR licenses, and I really don't see where the hate is coming from at all.

So the way I see it... Forza is better if you like an active community, customization, and accessibility. Gran Turismo is better if you are into pure racing itself. Because I like all of these things, I'll be picking both up.

Though you could probably tell by my avatar which one I like more...
