The pictures of the Saturdays. The rest of them looked fine, holding guitars and mics, but the one of the drums looked totally fucking clueless. In the second picture she's standing to far away, I can just imagine the shoot,"Oooh, look, I used this wood thingy to hit the rubber drum thing!".
Also, Halo Wars has few male fans, I highly doube women like it, let alone like it enough to have tops an stuff (yes, I know it's a PR thing).
That Street Racing Cyndicate sounds almost creepy, "Winning girlfriends" is almost justifiable, but making them dance clearly shows the distrubed nature of the developers. Who the hell makes their girlfriend dance?
Wow, this has got to be one of the best articles, EVER. Seriously, not just on this site, but in general .
Anyway, first off, I thank Nathan Meunier for making this. Just yesterday I was reading the top ten Zelda music article, and at the moment I'm scouring the remix site, and now this! Also, I am so grateful for the Anamalaguchi download site. It's not even funny how long I've been looking for Helix Nebula (evidently it wasn't that hard to find, I just didn't look hard enough). And now I find it, it's fricking free! I almost had a hardon, is was so excited.
Anyway, onto hiyohi55's comment. He does, in a way, have a right to leave a negative comment, after all, critiscism can be an useful thing, but seriously, what the hell kinda music do you like (@hiyohi55)? And are you so close minded that you won't even listen to one or two songs? He obviously didn't grow up in the NES/SNES/Genesis era, although neither did I. I suppose he's the equiuvalent of rock fan (which I am also) saying "nah, AC/DC suck, Maximo Park is the best" or something of that ingnorance level.
How did you know my symptoms? But honestly, some are kinda true, although not to extremes. Although I was singing the music that plays when a Pokemon's leveled up in school yesterday, but I haven't done a lot of these things. *Gives Fruit Patille to Hire (my tortoise)* Damn you, you're meant to evolve into Wartortle!
Hmm, there's a lot there to comment on, but there's three that stuck out, on the last page funnily enough.
First is Prey. I'll admit, I've never played it, but the way you described it, as being a good game, not excelling in anything, but fun nonetheless, reminded me of Haze. While it didn't blow people's minds, I played it and thought it was good, not fantastic, but sounded exactly the same as Prey.
Secondly, I was surprised with the F1 Championship Edition, I thought that'd sold quite well, but never seen the figures.
And as for GTA: CW for DS, I thought it was amazing, agrguably as good as GTA IV, yes I said it.
Pokemon, basically. Seriously, I'm 16 but everytime I play a Pokemon game I feel like a little kid again. Laugh if you want, but I would quite willingly camp out for a week just to get Pokemon Platinum. However I am glad that this site is more accepting of Pokemon, if feel welcome, kinda.
My first pre-order, that I remember, was Pokemon Sapphire. I got my brother to check online for the release date, then went to my local Woolworths and pre-ordered it. Then, the day it came out (it was a Friday, I had not school), I went with my mother town to get it. Although my mother didn't want to go, as it was raining really heavy and there were even floods in some part (according to the news) and worst of all the bus-stop didn't have a roof, so there we were, waiting for about ten minutes soaking wet, but I didn't care, as I just wanted to play the new Pokemon. When I got there I was the first (and only, I found out later) person to get the game in the shop. I also had a free palm-sized radio, that still works.
Okay, these are my answers for what games the explosions are from.
COD 4 ? ? Crackdown Gears of War Halo 2 Final Fantasy 7 ? Gears of war Halo 3 Mercanaries Portal Super Street fighter alpha ? Fallout 3 A Star Wars Game ? gta iv Mega Man 9 Half-Life 2 ? Gears of Wars 2 ? SSBB ?
Woohoo, a mentione of Santes Dwynwen, finally a mention of something Welsh on an American website.
Although we do still celebrate Valentine's Day. Santes Dwynwen isn't that popular really, being as so few Welsh people these days actually speak Welsh.
A pretty cool collection of game-ralated items. I always wondered why, in pictures of game magazine offices, there are lots of gaming merchandice, now I know.
I'm not too sure if Media Molecules have thought this through, it's a song written by a muslim, I can't see other muslims complaining about this if they knew it was by a muslim, although.......
