to those who havent played ff6 it's hard to explain unless you played it yourself back then. it was the reason ff7 was hotly anticipated because it was that awesome and gamers wanted more of it.

I complete agree with everything said by Gilbert. I'm so fucking tired of seeing this shit everywhere. At first you could only find these shirts online and at places like Hot Topic and Spencer's Gifts. Now you can find them at Target, Kohl's, and JC Penny. None of these shirts were funny or clever in the first place, but gamers ate them up because we've never had nerd pride apparel before, plus gamers are not particularly known for their keen fashion sense.

Keep this in mind. WHEN YOU HAVE TO TELL SOMEONE WHAT YOU ARE, THEN YOU'RE TRYING TOO HARD! Why not try being a little more subtle about it? If you're into gaming, people will know because you'll talk about it all the time, not because you wear a fucking shirt.

Also, I'm so tired to seeing nerdy guys and girls wear shirts about shit they don't actually know anything about. People wear shit like TMNT shirts, but they don't actually remember anything from it, even more, they don't even know that it originated from a comic book, and have never actually read the comic. They wear the shirt, because being nerdy is cool.

If you're going to wear gaming apparel to show your nerd pride, do it a little more subtly, and tastefully. Wear it with pride, but don't shove it down our throats like an asshole.

It is something that is deeply troubling, and it affects both new and established developers. Hell, the latest patch for the Sims 3 makes it to where your sims cannot interact with other sims in the game, a primary element of the game. And no patch has been released. It does make me wonder how much many companies care about customer service.
