A show can gain a fandom beyond it's target audience. Yes, MLP is a franchise meant to sell little girls toys but the show is respectably animated, generally well written, and most of all it's just fun. You don't have to be a little girl to appreciate those things. And honestly I'm glad that there's such a huge community of fans of this show who are not afraid to say they enjoy it. "Bronies" (Not fond of the term, but it's no worse than "Trekkies") can be pushy somethings and try to convince folk who are not all that interested into watching the show but what's the difference between that and trying to convince folk to play a game you like, read a book you like, watch a film you like, ETC.
It's not a hard concept to understand really. People like something, they want others to like that thing, they try to bring that thing together with another thing they like. It happens with every fandom.
Honestly, I'm just surprised it took them just long.
Never really got into Tekken but hey, this might be the time to. Not like I have anything better to do on Valentines Day. I should be able o stop by HMV on my way to or from school.
The Xbox had it's flaws as a console but fuck them, It Was My Console. Nintendo and Sony systems, I can't really crap on or anything but I grew up with the Xbox and it and the 360 will always be preferable to a PS2, PS3, Gamecube, Or Wii.
Also the article could have only contained the word KOTOR a thousand times, and still be as effective.
Argh! I hate Ghost Pokemon. They're such a Pain in the Ass. I'll admit that using a Gastly with Curse was the only reason I did not rage quit Platinum though.
I hope they do it so that there can be only one of each character in each game world. Marvel has thousands of characters, it can work. Also have lots of costume options.
That way every game world will be it's own little and Unique Marvel Universe.
She was around for Two decades before she gained the diamond abilities. Like I said Emma Frost was just her birth name, she was a Psychic under the moniker of The White Queen for years before the diamond skin. When she was created... this was never an issue.
The biggest thing that turns me off of this game as an X-Men is not the fact that we're playing as Brand New characters. It's the fact that it seems like the characters we're playing as won't have unique powers, but instead conglomerates of other Mutant's powers. I like the idea of a new character/s, heck maybe if they're fun enough they can become bonafide canon immigrants into the comics but give the lads and lass of this game they're own unique powers. Or maybe they do... I still don't understand how powers will work in this game... *SIGH*
Yeah, it's been said but Emma Frost... Diamond Skin (Or close to it) not Ice. Don't let the name fool you. In fact the Diamond skin is only a recent innovation debuting in Grant Morrison's "New X-Men". She was around exclusively as a Psychic for two decades.
