The Biggest Loser one is painful, yikes. "Hey, let's have a TV host no one's familiar with talk about the game based on the show, but not mention or show details on the game itself."
"Seriously, this game is meant to be played with a piece of paper and a pencil, two of the most common items in existence. Making it into DSi Ware actually makes it LESS FUN, guaranteed. If you spend 500 points on this game, a piece of your soul dies forever."
Yes, yes, yes. And having played Hearts of Iron III, I can recommend it to those among us that plot
My girlfriend hadn't played a PC shooter in her life, and when I showed her L4D, she burned through all four campaigns on normal difficulty, and later came back to play on advanced--successfully. As much as there are some unique mechanics tied to the co-op and special infected, she had more fun with it than Portal, for whatever reason.
Great stuff. Why would I visit lame game blogs like Kotaku to read regurgitated bullet-point press releases when there's interesting original content like this that relates to the game so much better?
Good stuff...really curious about Splatterhouse and Punch Out! Wii. Honorable mentions: Left 4 Dead DLC, DiRT 2, Dragon Age: Origins, Star Trek Online, Overlord 2, Portal 2.
Bear in mind that 7 is still "good," and I certainly don't think this is bad game. But as a lifelong Mario fan, I don't see how anyone could consider this better, let alone on par with SMB3, Mario World, SM64 or Galaxy.
I wondered the same thing, then I realized that 3D World is also published by Future. Sometimes we all share content like this just to show what else we have out there.
For example - I didn't even know we HAD a 3D magazine until now.
Hertz (Hz) is a unit of measurement that has to do with the refresh rate on your monitor or television. Make sure that your new TV has 120 Hz refresh rate. Also, some TVs say they are 120 Hz, but only accepts 60 Hz content. If you google your TV's model name and a visit to the NVIDIA 3D Vision page, that should help you confirm if your television is compatible.
Replaying missions is a first on PSP and all Sony platforms, so it's worth saying in that way. But yes, that was a feature on DS as well.
Cyberninja: Yep, I think it's better on DS, having spent tons of time with both I feel I can say that easily. However, if you didn't play the DS one, this is absolutely worth trying.
It's a great game to play before you go to sleep since it's so nice and grindy. If you've never played a Disgaea game, I would recommend starting with Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness. But Dark Hero Days is also a great place to start.
