cept we probaly wont see the "origin" of Masterchief
mostly because the part in the novel about the origin dosent really have a lot of action
training and obstacle courses dont make a good shooter. cutscenes are out of the question since it would take too long.
btw the spartans arent emotionless, it may seem like it in the game, but in the novels (Halo: Flood being a prime example) masterchief gets mad, sad even afraid.
What's Halo:Reach?
its the direct sequel to Halo :Combat Evolved.
ever wonder why the Pillar of Autumn was running from the covenant in the very beginning of halo 1? they entered a random slipspace in order to escape Reach after the covenant had started to glass it.
Reach was THE best defensive planet/location of the UNSC, and nobody thought it would be destroyed. All the spartans (save John 117 and Linda) were deployed to defend Reach, and all died except a few. After the first halo was Operation First Strike, the first ever strike on a covenant cruiser (as the name suggests), and after this came other events that seperated John/Masterchief from the rest of the spartans.
So basically Halo: Reach is the prequel to Halo:Combat evolved, but Masterchief will probably be left out of it due to the fact that he was in space during the attack on Reach (what he believed to be the hardest mission)
uhh sorry gamesradar, but im gonna have to shatter your theory
reading all the novels and following the halo story line, we know that master chief was never a sergeant
also master chief was never present at harvest during the attack on harvest, instead he was briefed on the situation and sent to another location, where he got his new mjolnir armor (the one seen in halo 1)
so even IF he went to harvest after being debriefed, its almost guaranteed that he would use his new armor
also masterchief's first battle with the covenant was AFTER the situation in Harvest
also the comparison to the face is not correct, bungie already stated that the "face" is a photoshopped picture of an employee, and has no bearing on what masterchief looks like
i know you guys really dont mean this article to be serious, and im probably overreacting, but many people will think that that IS the master chief, and being a hardcore halo fan im just informing the people who read this article
SHORT VERSION
-MasterChief was never at harvest during the time of Halo Wars
-The face in the beta was a photoshopped picture of a bungie employee
international terrorists are still international terrorists. I think that they'd be able to figure out who these people are using databases and stuff. It's not like they just appear from nowhere, there is intel on these things. And if the US and Russia were allies at the time, then even if just one of them knew, they'd share the information with each other.
