I think you should have kicked the compilation off and put Sonic Heroes in. I think that, overall, it holds up much better than Battle. The only levels I ever replay in Battle are the Sonic and Shadow ones and a few Tails and Eggman levels, but Sonic Heroes is much more solid. Plus it doesn't have a weird, over ambitious plot with military conspiracies. Sonic Advance is awesome. I loved the way that the characters were just different enough to add replay value without messing with the flow of the game. That's exactly what Sega should shoot for IMO. BTW, real men use Amy.

My friend actually beat Megaman 2 on the iPod. And I still haven't beat 9 on Xbox... I think that making this cost $.99 is stupid. If you're going to make a bad game on purpose then you shouldn't make people pay for it.

I kind of like the D-pad controller, but I'd like to try it before I got it. The fact that I only have two games (three if I get SFIV) that I'll actually use it with make it a hard sell. I've never had much luck with third part controllers either. The longest I've ever got one to last was just about a year. Of course, that one was Madcatz (a sexy Panthers controller), so it might be worth it.

The Sega collection looks really cool, but I already own Sonic Mega Collection. I might rent it since it has so many more games. I'm definitely wanting to play Street Fighter IV or Halo Wars, but I'm not sure if I want to buy either one for sure, and I probably won't be able to get both (at least not at release). They both look so amazing though.

My game resolution this year is to beat Super Street Fighter II: Turbo: HD Remix on at least hard. That game kicks my butt harder than anything else I own, and I want revenge. If I win, I want the South Park DVD, unquantifiable prize pack, or the Mega Man prize pack.
